I think Crawford has been very professional considering how Randy has yanked his chain all year.

So how do you think you would handle what has been tossed at him.

Temple, Mack, Pargo starting over you as PG
A 19 year old kid starting over you at SG
And now a DL call up starting over you at SG

And with all of that, you are still the scoring leader on the team even though he played hurt for 5 weeks.

If I was Crawford, I would ask to be traded.

If i was Crawford i would definitely not be happy having a scrub like Temple starting in front of me. That was ridiculous.

Other than that i think Crawford has been treated fairly. He was getting plenty of minutes until he got hurt.

Agreed. Crawford has no right to be upset about Beal starting ahead of him, especially with how he was comign on before the wrist injury. Somethign has been off with the whole relationship ever since Crawford was late to shoot around the day after Nene called him and Seraphin out. He was benched, got hurt, took his timing returning from the injury (which may be smart but not common for him), and his on court demeanor seems different.

Starting Temple over him is a sign that there's definitely a disconnect between him and the coaching staff.

This kind of play from Wall is what had CCJ and myself ragging on him so hard last year.

He started like crap. Eventually he had a light bulb moment and he played better. Then he reverted again. Then he got better again.

Maybe eventually his play will level out but for right now, his game is not smooth, polished or consistent.

Athleticism over skill.

They should not be locked into building around him. Not sure I would say they definitely shouldn't, but by no means have I seen anything to says they definitely should.

As for today, Beal is looking more like the long term piece than Wall is. There are lots of good PGs in the league. You don't want to over pay for one when that money can be better used elsewhere. Hell, look how good Vasquez is doing.

Can't give up on him yet. He is still a young man. He came to a destroyed team. Missed his first opportunity to have a summer camp because of the strike and then he was injured to start this year. But Vasquez was drafted the same year as Wall so ?

you make a lot of sense. i just don't want to believe it. ive invested too much time in becoming a wall homer to throw it all away but my hopes and expectations are going to need to be tempered soon if this keeps up.

But how troubling is it that our star guard, John Wall, in TEN games this year, has yet to make a 3pt shot?

Good lord.

It is only troubling if you continue to be assuming that he "is our star guard".

It's troubling to see how you only show up when Wall is doing bad... TF dude, what's your infatuation with the kid..?? :-?

I have less time to post but have been 100% consistent on that topic. Problem is that Wall has been consistently bad.

Look, I despise Witt more than anything but I won't fully rip him for the Temple thing. He started Temple because he doesn't feel Beal will be out long. Both Ariza & especially JC are the type of guys u don't wanna get use to starting because it'd then hard to put that ego back on the bench. Trust ne, if Beal was out for a month then JC would've started but he doesn't wanna give JC any kinda thought in his head that he's a starter with Wall & Beal healthy

The TEAM seems to still believe that Wall is their "star guard." A few have been correctly pointing out that Wall has not actually played like a star. It may yet come -- he has great physical tools. He still needs to add the skill of shooting the ball, and he needs to make better decisions to reduce turnovers. These things were concerns as he came out of college.

I wish he would. He's playing almost at the level of an average 2 guard, so we might actually get something for him.

We should move him fast before we sink his value any further....

He started Temple at SG.

Come on.

Actually, I posted to start Webster there and in hind sight, that wasn't even the right move. Webster is not a primary scorer. Crawford is. He should have started Crawford with Trevor A

Wall/Price/Temple
Crawford/Webster/Temple
Trevor A/Singleton/Webster
Kevin/Ves
Okafor/Nene

This is where they need to get to while Beal is out.

Even with Beal healthy I would start Trevor A. Two reasons. One, he is a better defender. Two, if you do want to trade him, that would be the better opportunity to raise his value.

Nene needs to start coming off the bench until he can jump higher then 3 inches and he finds a new hair band that actually keep his hair in place.

Okafor is playing well enough now that I would try Kevin with him.

I missed this game as my internet was down. Some of you guys need to relax. Just 3 days ago we were talking about playoffs and how wrong SVG was about Wall. "Wall looks amazing!!!! We crushed the bulls!!!! Best team we've had in 40 years!!! Drink the kool aid!!!!!!!!!" 2 games later and Wall sucks? What's wrong with you guys?
