I think John works hard. I just don't think he works smart/right. Practicing the wrong things over and over wont help.

I'm really tempted to keep going at Seraphin on twitter...but I don't want to be that guy...LOL...am I in the wrong? I hope Néne just snaps and body slams the dude one day. What a waste of talent. Wizards player development...STELLAR

After reading the last few pages... I'm glad I skipped the Beal-less Wiz to watch some other games. :P

Since there's no point in talking about tonight's game....I have a question. Is it right for me to be pi$$ed over Seraphin's nonchalant attitude after another embarassing loss in an embarassing season for him? Or am I just mad cause I wasted time watching the debacle?

No. I don't think you are right, jivelikenice. Seraphin has a right to relax after a day at work just like anyone else. At least he is chilling at a movie rather than going out clubbing when he has a game tomorrow.

It's not like Seraphin was trying to guard Williams. Kevin didn't get dominated by Reggie Evans any more than Okafor or Nene, and they make a bit more money.

@OBtoojiveforyou so? I'm gonna cry ? I have a game tomorow so I'm focus on the one that it ! People are crazy in this world !

I don't have a problem with his response because this team is 19-42 and the problems start way higher than Kevin. Many things are wrong and no one player should be singled out or made to bow his head in shame. They play a lot of games. Sometimes the best thing is to completely put something out of your mind and move on.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

I don't think anyone we have on our team could have contained Deron single handily tonight. Sometimes guys just go off.

The **** part is how woeful our offense was throughout. Wall did take 19 shots but it wasn't like anyone else was being particularly effective early on. You can tell how sorely Beal is missed, and how bad Nene/Okafor are when they play like they don't give a damn. Might as well just shut em down the rest of way if they intend to get abused like that.

Agreed. The plus side is that hopefully the Wizards can get someone that can hit an open jumper occasionally aside from Beal. Yes Webster can but not sure if Ariza the past few weeks can be something that the Wizards can expect from him consistently.

He's not at the movies...I think just tweeting jokes about movies, and some other stuff...

I thought I may be wrong, but I just don't think you'd see a real competitor worried about twitter and Instagram an hour after another bad loss..would Gil do that or would Gil have been watching film on his IPad or dribbling a ball? I get players can relax....but it seems like players in Washington relax too much. I also wouldn't think anything of it if it were Okafor, Néne, or Beal for example....but Seraphin has regressed so much and his twitter use screams Javale wannabe IMO. I appreciate the honest opinion though....

It actually just annoyed me and I quickly responded. I didn't think much more of it until he wrote back...

I don't know how hard Wall works. His slight shooting mprovemeng makes me think he does work, but maybe not to Gil's insane levels. But to his defense, you can tell the losses bother him. He's not like Seraphin enjoying the #KevinSeraphinLife....absolute joke

I think you took it too far on twitter. Kevin is a person first and a basketball player second. After a hard day at work would you not want to relax and watch a movie? It's one game out of 82 games. If he was joking about getting blown out that would be one thing but he was just trying to enjoy his night.

Makes sense. I direct messages him an apology. I think years of Wizards frustration are getting to me!

I totally understand, it's tough being a Wizards fan. I had a day from hell, where my car broke down and I had to spend $1,300 to fix it. I got home just in time to see the Wizards down 20-0 to the Nets  It's the painful life we choose as Wizards fans. If anything we should be upset at Wall for not improving in 3 years as the number 1 pick before we bash Kevin. Wall needs to lead this team by example and live in the gym. But by all reports it's been Beal spending a lot of time on improving his game.

But you never know, your comments may inspire Kevin S to go on a hot game streak and actually focus on his game.

Hopefully! They're all regular folks with great talent and I have to remember that, but I'd love for this team to just one time get a guy who's a fierce competitor like Kobe. Someone who just hates losing....hopefully Beal is that guy.

i follow vesely on facebook and everytime he posts something i just feel like saying something snarky to him. Like his preparing to be an all star picks..or we are playing BKN tonight! when he wasn't even going to see the floor. Pech was better than vesely. Gil was better than wall ( and i said this predraft to keep gil hoping he recovers)..oh well. I miss pre injury gil.

I don't understand the problem w/ Kevin tweeting, etc. after the game.

If you had to *absorb* bad losses of this kind emotionally, you couldn't play the game as a professional.

Save our attitudes for Messrs Leonsis and Grunfield.

It is nice to see that Wall takes his roll as tank commander seriously. It he keeps taking 19 shots a game the tank will be in good shape.

Nothing wrong with tweeting or relaxing. I just thought it was a very Nick Young/ Javale McGee type of attempt and that's a path I hope Seraphin can avoid. And although i shouldnt have tweeted him back, personally, I do want to see some fire after a bad loss. If Wall had tweeted about going to a party or his new shoe release an hr after the loss, I'm sure ppl would have had issues....

Either way, me and Kevin exchanged some positive direct messages after the fact. I apologized and did tell him I thought he had a ton of potential and want to see him get back to playing to the potential he showed.....

If he turns it around, I'll take all credit for saving his career.....

I totally get where you're coming from. We want our favorite team and the players on it to be far more passionate than we see ourselves being, and if we're still pissed, we naturally expect them to be sulking in a corner somewhere, wanting to rip into something.

But if you lose more than half your games, that would be a pretty detrimental way to live. It totally makes sense that Seraphin wants to blow off steam, relax, or whatever. I still prefer that he would "seem" pissed about things, but who knows, that's not our call. I have never actually wanted to hound a player (even Blatche) ro celebrity through social media. Then again, I use twitter for more professional comms than personal.
