They should trade him now while his value is at it's highest.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Or he could fall into the abyss like Vladimir Veermenko.

Vladimir Veer (and a bunch of capspace) got us half a season of Capt Kirk, Seraphin, Crawford,
Singleton....

I know, but I just hope people aren't putting a lot of hope into Satoransky becoming a player.

I don't think we are, i think we hope he becomes a good player just because it would be nice not to f**k up so much, but we also don't want him to come in and play well before E.G. gets fired because we do not want him to have any ammo to use to keep his job.

I think Tomas can play, I don't mind the pick if it were at the end of the draft. His problems though are the problems Wall has... turnovers and shooting.

Hopefully he stays in Europe another year, Ernie gets canned, then maybe he comes over here. Best case scenario.

I don't have great hope for him, but you could see some raw ability and basketball IQ for him SL play. I would bring him back this summer and let him run the team this time (versus backing up Mack) and see what he has before deciding is he needs another season overseas. I just think ppl are quick to say this kid is doomed because Ernie picked him.

The problem I have with "revisiting" Satoransky is that I didn't really enjoy the first visit.

To be fair, has anyone that was drafted that we wanted (my pick was Doron Lamb) actually exceeded expectations or made a significant impact? The jury is still out here....This isn't a Dejuan Blair type of screw up

Speaking of Blair, I don't think he was that big of a screw-up that some out there make it to be. Blair is an average player at best. And his knees are still shotty.

I agree, but i would bring him over, and then do something that the wizards seem dead set against doing to any player. Send him down the the D league to start the season, and if he shows flashes of something bring him up and let him play.

and to be fair
Kyle O'Quinn, Jae Crowder, and Khris Middleton are showing some promise. But yeah i dont think we have any super mistakes here. I think with our SF situation as it is i think that Khris Middleton would have gotten some quality minutes and maybe cut out a nice chunk of playing time for him self.
