I second this.

Au contraire. I think this thread could and should hit 100 pages. Great stuff here, especially during yet another yawner of a stretch drive while the Wizards show their "character" and "energy" by clawing for wins jeopardizing their draft position.

I think we should take Ruz's post one step further:

I thought this topic was referring to the "Curse of Les Boulez" and John being the next victim.

A summary of the history behind The Curse of Les Boulez.

Does anyone else feel this way when watching Wall play?
What can he do to improve his chances of not getting injured?

Finally, do you think Wall will sustain this kind of play in the future?

Nope. Wall's attacking style really only worried me his first two seasons because he would play at one speed on offense whether in the half court or in transition. I don't see that very much now, he plays under much more control and with his jump shot falling I believe he puts his foot on the gas only when necessary or if there's a clear opening as he's been doing versus every other play like he would when he didn't believe in his shot.

To answer your last question, I think Wall cuts more and more of the unnecessary things out of his repertoire as his career goes on and he matures as a player. I think he's wise and eliminates the unnecessary.

John Wall is one of the most athletic players in the game. He has speed that leaves other world class speedsters in the dust. This must put more stress than normal on all parts of his body. Furthermore, other players like Wall with exceptional athletic ability have also suffered significant injuries early in their career (e.g. Rose, Grant Hill).

Do I think the probability that someone as freakishly athletic as Wall will suffer a career changing injury is higher than average? Do I believe that, having almost suffered a stress fracture already, Wall is probably more susceptible than average to knee injuries? DON'T WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
