Now is the time to use the D-league to the Wiz advantage(14)

This is the chance the Wizards been waiting for. If EG is truly the hidden genius I believe he is, he will now use the D-league in 2014 to "develope" the Wizards players while also generating a legit tank for 2014 draft.

Send booker/Cmartin/Singleton/Jan/KS/(whoever they draft in 2013)/ and whoever else. Send them to the d-league to develop that Roleplayer game, with my game time.

Drop the excuse that was used this season for not using d-league.

This gives the team more room to tank while also a way to maximize off the talent of these players to maybe keep or trade.

Look at KS for example. He was doing well last season as well as early this season before Nene came back. After that he was benched and hasn't been the same since. Same for booker. Also Singleton was also ok before the dreaded bench DNP. Give them play time in the DLeague could really spice up their skills.

If you're going to keep making threads about the Wizards "tanking" then can you give a reason why you think such a thing would take place realistically?

No one's "tanking" anything. That's not what this is about, that's not why players play the game. They have a legitimate star in John Wall---whose contract will be extended--- not to speak of several veteran players, the Wizards have gone three straight seasons of missing the playoffs since drafting Wall no.1 overall, he finally really begins to blossom and the Wizards should purposely take a step backwards? Why would they do that???

This isn't franchise mode in the NBA 2K series, the Wizards aspire to improve on the previous season not intentionally go backwards. I think you should get over Parker, Wiggins, or whoever else that has you thinking this way and look towards making good on this year's pick and making the playoffs next season.

Long term > Short Term

Tanking =Long Term future success.

Playoff run =Short term non-success.

Why?= Wizards in same division as LeBane James and the Heat that comes with him... John Wall may be Batman, but lets wait for robin before trying to fight LeBane

Tanking at this point leads to Wall losing confidence in the organization and leaving. Whether or not we use the D-League, we're not tanking. Next season, baring massive injuries, we will be a playoff team, so no Wiggins for us.

Tanking=restart of the franchise yet again. It will not yield long term future success now.
