Trade value on the other hand... Wall should be at least a tier above Rubio.

I agree. Rubio is slightly better than Wall defensively, but there is no comparison on offense. Wall destroys him. Ranking Rubio above Wall is ridiculous. There isn't a GM in the league who wouldn't take Wall over Rubio.

Simmons has Irving ranked higher than 19th, and at least 2 tiers better. Regardless of where you fall on Irving/Wall, 7+ spots and 2+ tiers is too wide a disparity between Wall and Irving.

Yeah I would take Wall over Irving and Rubio. I understand why Irving is higher because he was an all-star and has fancy commercials. But there is no way in hell Rubio should be ranked near Wall.

He's disruptive and makes a lot of steals and big plays. But he is also very torchable. He's not as good playing on the ball.

Yeah. Remember how bad we thought Wall's shooting was? Well at least Wall could always make them from in close. Rubio is the worst shooting PG in the league. Probably the worst shooting starting player in the league. It's ghastly.

Know what I find funny, is that you all on this forum called me a troll when I pointed out Wall went 40 points in that off season star game, yet he blew up like that this season as well just like in that game.

Like I said, just like RG3 is to the Redskins, Wall need to be allowed to play the way he great at.
Stop trying to force a play style on him that isn't him.

Same with Beal. Yeah you can develop Beal. But perfect what he good at.

I have never called you a troll. I called you an elf. Big difference.

You mean like making his shots and not turning the ball over? "Not my style. Keeping it real."

No, Simmons ranks players in terms of trade value. He's saying Irving is the 7th most valuable trade asset in the league.

I can see how "untradeable" can also be meant as a negative but that's not what I intended. You're right - most valuable asset. I guess it was just they way he phrases his rankings that got me thinking in those terms.

I see what you're saying. I read a connotation into the word "untradeable" because it's often used as a negative. The Wizards have had soooooo many untradeable guys (for the wrong reasons) through the years. It's a weird ranking he does. At the top are guys whose teams wouldn't even think of trading them.

And then, there's Carmelo at 6. If I were running the Knicks, I'd want to trade him. Heck, if I had been running the Knicks, I wouldn't have traded for him in the first place.
