I mainly just talked with Ed at the local Giant. :) Always liked him -- very nice man. I haven't talked with anyone over there in awhile now. I think he's still with the team. He was mentioned as a POSSIBLE replacement for Billy Hunter as executive director of the players association, but there's been no announcement of a new director (unless I missed it). I think Ross is more of a replacement for Tim Connelly, who left to be the Nuggets GM.

Speaking of Connelly, it'd great if the Wiz can make a trade or 2 with him. Hopefully, he was in on the Ernie's kids picks, and still has high hopes for them. Maybe to help his signing of Hickson look good, he trades Faried - to get Hickson more PT. Faried for any or all of the EK's.

Yeah, we can only hope. At some point we know Connelly liked Vesely & Singleton more than Faried, just probably not now.

I still can't get over the fact that Ernie has a protege that another team chose to be their GM.

Considering Faried went down to 22, a lot of GMs missed that one.

This has got to be a joke, right? The Nuggets are going to give up Faried for guys we picked in the same time period who are obviously utter failures? I don't think so.
