I believe Whittman deserves to be in discussion for coach of the year. The Wizards are knocking off the top teams in the NBA and making some noise league wide. They are a young team that other teams will learn to fear for a long time. Whittman deserves some praise for turning this thing around. The team is playing disciplined basketball without any locker room distractions. All of the players seem to get along. Whittmans commitment to defense has translated down to the players and his rotations have been spot on recently.
