Maybe Beal and Wall simply aren't bright enough to stop the long 2s. Maybe Ariza is playing over his head and last night's performance was a bit of regression to the mean. Maybe Gooden is coming back down to earth. Whatever the case, there's more than enough evidence to show we are what are record says we are. Mediocre.

+1. And you know what all this Wittman blame will lead to ??? Ernie being resigned. I can hear Ernie now..."Ted, we would have been a 50 point team if I could have selected my own coach. Allow me to get a new coach and we will be on our way" And, you know what, next year we will have a new coach but still have a mediocre team, people will still be bitching about how the new coach is responsible for all the losses (like they did with EJ, Tapscott, Flip, and now Wittman) and the one common denominator in all of these sucky years will still be running this team, smacking his gum, and telling reporters that building a good team is a "process."

Regarding EGs coaches, lets add some context. EFJ was never his guy. Taps was a stand in for one year. Flip was a legit coach who signed up to coach Gil, CB, AJ and Haywood who in his first year got this...

Then Gungate, then he was gone. And Randy was the stand in for cheap while they did the rebuild because he was teaching them defense and the star players like Wall and Nene supported him.

Wittman 2 years
Tapscott he was a stand in for a year the year Gil played 2 games and Haywood 6 DS 32
Eddie Jordan 5 years +
L. Hamilton 1 year
G. Heard D. Walker 1 year combined
W. Unseld 7 years every year he coached them they record got worse except his last from .268 to .293

Can a brother get a real head coach...

Man we were so close.

On the list of best coaches, Tom Thibodeau ranks 12th with .659 over 308 games

So when EG has a chance to pick, you are going to get something between Flip and Tibbs. Flip actually wasn't a terrible HC. He Ranks 56 with a win record similar to Mike Fratello and Larry Brown

With all the bad losses we've had this season you guys are saying that we should not probably have 4-6 more wins? Coupled with the games we have left and should win that puts us right around 50 wins. Just like were the Bulls and Raptors are at.
