Wall's shooting has been bad (36% vs 43% in regular season) but he is getting to the line 9 times per game which makes up for it somewhat. He definitely needs to shoot better, or less, going forward.

I'm curious, sonny. How do you measure a player being "outplayed"? Points, assists, wins, defensive stops, turnovers or all of the above?

Just goes to show that Beal has been playing well... a lot better than his regular season numbers. The gap isn't as large as people were making it out to be at least so far against the Chicago.

For the first time ever you have to wonder if this is Bradley Beal's team.

He has really come of age during this series. He and Wall are getting some much needed experience in prime time pro hoops!

Absolutely no one should. My drunken point, which inspired drunken responses, was a compliment to Beal (on his leadership and overall development) and a slight encouragement for Wall to get more aggressive and focused. Not a pitting of one against the other. At all. Having seen the last game, I truly wonder if Beal (being younger) could develop into a better player than Wall. I would have never said that before this series. That is all. No reason to get all punch drunk over a simple statement. Wall needs to elevate his full game in post season play to be our franchise player for the next decade. He simply must, and can, if we hope to win a championship. Wall has not been mentally strong, offensively, this series. He is the best guy on the court, and he's playing tentative. That's not how we will win the next round, if we do.

Beal has a shooting stroke that Wall would kill for, while Wall has the IQ and court vision that Beal lacks (right now). Two different players that are doing two different things, but they come together and it's magical.

We always knew about the shooting stroke, though. What I'm impressed with this series is his ability to put a pressure filled game on his back. His dribbling and distributing have improved. But mostly, his defense is becoming stellar. He acted like a star last game, not the third wheel of a playoff team. That was impressive. When Wall called for the ball, and Beal said, "I got this," and then created his own shot. That's Beal on another level.
