His fluke three was great, but boy, did he look like three gears slower out there than everybody else. Really hoping he finds a way to contribute in this series or some of those second unit scoring lulls could be the difference in this series.

Agree, Gooden really bailed out the bench last night. Other than him, only Miller scored off the bench with his 3-pointer. I'd like to see Harrington and Gooden out there at the same time. I keep saying this, but Al had a good outing against in that last game vs the Pacers near the end of the season. He was 5-10, 12 pts, only 1 three. He can stretch the floor out there and give Miller a little breathing room imo.

I agree about Miller. However, you know who I am most disappointed in....Martell. Dude has been AWOL this postseason. I don't know if he is suffering through back problems or what but his defense has been atrocious and he is invisible on offense. I wouldn't even know he was in the game except for the fact that the person he is guarding is usually making shots.

Boy it would be so nice if we could go to Otto when Martell is struggling like this.

I'd throw him out there, tbh. I mean, what's the worse that'll happen? He'll miss shots? turn it over?

That stuff is happening when the bench comes in anyway.

Actually, at this point, I'd rather Otto come in than Martell. Martell is giving us nothing on offense and he is a liability on D. At least Otto would give a better defensive effort.

I got them beating Indy in 6. Indy took the series 2-1, but 1 of those victories neither Nene and Beal played. Indy faced the current Wizards roster 1 time and got blown out. The Wizards are match up well with the Pacers.

We need Wall to play like the first player taken in the 2010 draft but not challenging himself to do so. That does not mean dominating by scoring. That means playing like he did against Chicago, but with better shooting. The PG position is the biggest advantage the Wizards have in this series.

Good Stuff Brenice.

From the same source

The Wizards were 22-19 on the road this season, tied for the league’s eighth-best mark
their 22-19 home record ranked only 18th).

That was a remarkable leap considering Washington was
7-34 a year ago,
9-24 in the lockout-shortened 2011-12 season and
3-38 the season before that 2010-2011

So they were 15 games better on the road in one year. Wonder when the last time they did that was ?
