Hump has been contributing solidly off the bench this season. His high motor, strength, skill, and veteran savvy make him an ideal reserve forward/center combo. Dare I say 6th man?

His TS% is low because all he takes are long 2's. He's actually shooting 45% from 16-22 feet, and 50% from 10-16, both are exceptional numbers for a big man. The problem is, he doesn't get any attempts at the rim. I guess the question is, would another PF do much better considering the system we run? None of our PG's or C's are threats from the perimeter, so our PF's pretty much have to shoot from outside to make room.

I'd like to see Humphries try some 3-pointers. If he can shoot 45% from 16-22 feet, he just needs to hit 30% from 3-point range to have the same eFG%. If he can get that up to 35%, it would be a significant increase in overall efficiency.

Not that he might not be more efficient if he shot more threes and less long two's, but I think if Humphries is shooting that well from mid-range, that he is likely actually helping our offense more than his TS% would suggest, by stretching the floor for Wall to drive and score or dish, and possibly by dragging his defender further form the basket and making it harder for him to grab defensive rebounds. Are these benefits demonstrated if you look at the on off stats for Humphries and the team rebounding stats when he is on the floor vs off the floor?

The loop at the very end shows Humphries even pushing Beal back as if to say, "Calm down young fella, I got this".

Kris has IMO been there and done that. A professional body guard could not have done better. (Nene is the man!) KH was calm and his head was on a swivel during the fracas. THAT is how to take care of business. Don't get hit from behind, either. Giving credit all around, Rasual Butler also is a good leader. What coach, teammates, or fans wouldn't appreciate the professional way Nene, Humprhies, Beal, and Butler reacted?

Nene and Humphries demonstrate leadership quality here. Strength with Restraint.

Kris won. No child support payments and she STILL wants most likely. He got his and got out the trap was set for life. (Or until she runs back to him, which wouldn't surprise me at all).
