I'll probably give it to Beal. Had Wall not had 2 or 3 really poor turnovers he'd be a much more legitimate candidate. Paul, as some have mentioned, was a major calming force down the stretch when our young back court looked panicky.

I also think it worth mentioning is the big play Pierce came up with when they tied the game up at 84. I believe he was on the elbow and about to shoot a pretty tough fade-away but made the smart pass to dump it off to Nene who was under the rim. Nene did well on the play being patient and letting two shot blockers go past him before he laid it in. It was only two points, but with all the momentum they had, had we not scored that time down the court you can almost guarantee they would have scored or got free throws on the next possession. Instead it ignited a critical 7-0 run, to me, that was maybe the most critical bucket of the night.

Kudos to our young back court for making their freebies as well, we needed every last one. Beal is now up to 83% in that regards with John making improvements but I still would like to see him at least around 80%.

Beal 1, Pierce 2. Even though Beal had a great game, it could have been better. He missed I think 3 wide open 3's and had some... moments running the offense, and made it a little too easy - I thought - on Harden at the end. But overall - great game playing against the best at his position.
