No matter how many times you fail and no matter how much you suck, he'll always give you shot after shot after shot, even at the expense of others in his life that may be more deserving of a shot.

The rest of the season is fairly light. Only playing four tough games and only nine games in 19 days. Hopefully they can catch some rest down the stretch so that our foray into the playoffs isn't a total disaster.

Also, we now have a 4.5 game lead over Milwaukee and we're 2 games behind Toronto and 3 behind Chicago. If we don't quickly close that gap in front of us, we will be in a position where wins and losses won't matter down the stretch.

Agreed - and it is really 3 games for Toronto (they win the tie breaker). I think we should rest Wall, Nene and Pierce as much as possible. I am really rooting for Toronto to pass Chicago. But Chicago has more "gime" games - so I don't think it will happen...

Yeah, the key is that Miami, Charlotte, Boston, Indy and Brooklyn are all battling for the 7th and 8th seeds. They're going to be playing hard up until the last game of the season. Chicago only has 2 games against those teams. Every other opponent is either in tank mode or they're resting starters for the playoffs.

Toronto has to play 6 teams against desperate teams, plus the 1 game against Houston. That's 7 games that should be difficult, and only 2"gimmies" (MIN and ORL).

I gotta give credit to my favorite whipping boys - Gooden and Sessions. Gooden even played defense on occasion last night! And Sessions made several nice alert plays in the first half of the 4th quarter.

Btw, I think we found a team with a worse coaching staff than he Wiz - relying on Jeff Taylor at the end? He gave up the huge 3 to Ras, and then misses a FT - why put him in knowing he's a bad FT shooter and in cold off the bench? But Wittman's insistence on going with Webster over Porter is mind-numbingly stupid. And with Pierce not being able to hit the broad side of a barn last night, how do you not give Porter some PT? WT_, Randy?

Randy Wittman does not like coaching young players. Wall and Beal are the exceptions for whatever reason—but we'll see Porter gone soon enough. He'll be traded for an older rotational player.

I'm thinking we're pretty locked into the five seed. I'd go hard at it for a couple of games, see if the Raps lose a couple... If not, I'd love to see a lot of Garrett Temple , Ramon Sessions, Rasual Butler, Kevin Seraphin and Dejaun Blair.

CHA just always gave them fits. I think they really bring it to play WAS.
