It's better this way. Let Randy fail.

Its like he actually goes out of his way to create line ups that get the least from the pieces he has.

If not for Beal and Gortat playing amazing there, it would have been down 50 or more. And they got it down to 10 :banghead:

Why in the world would he have gone back to that line up be did to start this game ? :nonono:

The dude is so slow to get a clue or react...

I told it before - Randy has the same routine for substitutions in each game. Starting 4th q with second units 4-6 min until Nene, Wall, is back then Pierce and finally 3-4 min for Gortat if He deserves. That is insane. This guy has no clue how to read the game AT ALL!

Doesnt make any sense. If I was a Wizards fan i'd be outraged. Still have a shot at the 3rd seed and get the easier 1st round match up against Milwaukee. At the very least get the 4th seed and get homecourt advantage.

We're more outraged by the Nene and Pierce start and 14 points in the first quarter.

Nene and Pierce were the only Wizards with positive +/-. Gooden had -26 in less than 16 minutes and Otto had -40. So... what are outraged about?

Yep. Exactly. No way they get to 30 wins without Wall.

The team as built is fundamentally flawed.

Nene and pierce were pretty invisible passengers on the Bradley beal wagon- he carried us on that 2nd and 3rd quarter run. If they have some playoff mojo charging up in those old bones they hid it well.

At least it was good to see beal playing like the alpha male we need him to be, and then gortat asserting himself in the 3rd as well. Almost makes you think there's hope for this team if they can get all their pieces back.

The outcome of the TEAM.

The magic of Randy Wittless rotations.. :banghead:

Nene and PP only had positive +/- because they were standing around out there while Beal and Gortat went off..

Beal was -22
Gorat was -6

That hardly tell the story of what they did in the game. You can't use +/- in a vacuum like you did. Its meaningless unless you show the game flow and tell the bigger story.

If anything Beal being -22 just goes to show you what a total idiot Randy is. Beal has a great game.

Actually I'm going to change this to the Bradley Beal-Mobile. Rolls off the tongue a little nicer.

He scored 25 PTs in about half the game- he's young enough to think he can learn to dominate the a whole 48 minutes now and again. Health permitting of course. Wouldn't that be nice to see along side john wall.

Now that's the Wizards performance I expected without John Wall - not impressive against a decent/hungry team. Nice of Beal and Gortat to show up and play. Agreed with those who liked Beal's aggressiveness. Brooklyn played pretty well.

We've managed to put together a second unit with no size, no athleticism, and no shooters.

It's too bad GR Jr. was sent packing. Ego's...

Funny, during the game I was thinking WTF, a guy like GR Jr.....we couldn't have let him finish the year?

I have thought that since they released him.

I don't care if Rice Jr. cussed Wiitman and said "Yo mama!", you have to be patient with petulant youth.

Familia is deeper than that. Keep the guy. Suspend him. Send him temporarily to D-League. But finish the season with him.

Lol at the advanced analytics guys who think Wall is worth 7 or so wins. This team would be scary bad without him.

Why do that when you can jump ship and sign a guy like Will Bynum?

Noted.

:)

Better still to burn a draft pick for a guy like Bynum, after wasting everyone's time on Rice Jr.

The big loss made me kinda mad at Randy.

Dude doesn't get it, methinks.

Hope all the pieces get back and the train's conductor links them all together to pull the Wizards towards winning.

Finally had a moment to look at the box for this game and...first thing I saw was the Wizards at -30 with Seraphin on the floor. I think: wow, not sure I've seen a bigger negative -- especially in just 15 minutes. Then I see the Wiz at -35 with Bynum on the floor. Sheez. And then I see they were -40 with Porter in the game. Holy ****.

I find that game-by-game +/- stat pretty useless when judging the performance of individual players. It seems to me that too much of it depends on the play of the teammates you happen to be on the court with.
