Report: Humphries S&T to Wizards

Post#241 » by closg00 » Sun Apr 26, 2015 1:28 pm

Guys, I saw Kris Humphries last night at a popular restaurant with a gay man, it was just the two of them. I didn't make an immediate assumption it, but if after Googling I came across this.

I don't care, I guess he isn't "out" yet.

#FireErnie ~ Because he believed Stephen Curry couldn't help us and Jan Vesely could.

Why is he stuck on the bench btw? I liked his play when he was in Boston last season, thought he would give you some solid bench minutes. How has his season been?

He had a very good season but got hurt and missed about 15 games late. Never really found his rhythm when he returned.

By the Wittman had stumbled upon Gooden as a stretch four. Drew's ability to hit the three as opposed to Humphries' nearly automatic long two has helped space the floor for the guards and Gortat.

Overall, hump has been a good addition.

Unless Hump re-injured him self, he has his rhythm back as he played well in the last 5 games of the season. Hump is a much better player than Gooden, but for some reason Witt liked Gooden more in this series. I personally disagree with that decision but I guess its worked out for the better so far.

It's pretty hard to quibble with Gooden's play in this series. He was consistently excellent... And his threes spaced the floor and made everyone better.

I can't disagree. All I can say is in the regular season: Hump > Gooden. Better defender, better rebounder, better and more consistent offensive player. But if Gooden is this good now Witt should stay with the hot hand.

The good thing about him getting basically no PT in the playoffs in deference to Gooden is - There's no doubt that Hump will use this offseason to work on his 3 point shooting

Hump should be draining 3 after a summer of working on it.

That will make a huge difference.

music to my ears. 28-32 mins of a competent stretch 4 a night who isn't the liability Gooden is on the defensive end would go a long way.

I think Hump is aware, he can extend his career if he actually becomes good at it. Hell Gooden resurrected his.

I got no complaints. I wish he tried more in game the 2nd half of this year. Maybe he wouldn't have been sitting on the bench in the playoffs.

I don't think we could ask for more than what he said: "I never really worked on shooting threes and stuff. I started working on it this year, and had a lot of success in the last month or so, working on it every day. And I'll continue to work on it for next year to add that into my game."
