I am Raptors fan and not trolling here , I just want to ask why you guys look like a totally difference team this year ? Where is the wiz who beat us 4 in a rolls in last year playoff ? Is PAulP really make that much of the difference to the team?

You guys are losing it. No way are we bad enough to miss the playoffs. We haven't been fully healthy and have yet to find our rhythmn

It's not that we're bad, it's that the East looks tough this year with so many teams clicking. A lot of other squads came into the season with better chemistry/continuity than the Wiz.

I also still think Washington can & should make the playoffs, but they have a pretty limited window to actually start looking like a playoff team - giving it another month.

Yeah. I really didn't expect for Charlotte and Indiana to be legitimately good rather than merely another team scrapping for the 6-8 spot.

Nah. It's not Pierce because Dudley is playing better than Pierce did. Mostly it's that the East has improved while we haven't. The other issue is that Wall was awful in November. He's playing great in December, but everyone else is hurt. We've been without Nene, Humphries and Gooden for a while now, and Gortat missed a few games for family reasons. There just aren't any big men left on the team.

Finally, Beal has been awful. He has shown no improvement whatsoever. He's the same inefficient offensive player, only now he is taking up more possessions on offense (not a good thing) while also playing worse defense. If we had the Bradley Beal of the playoffs, things would be different.

Haven't watched any games this year- aside from the roster being old, slow, short, injured, and mentally soft - is team chemistry as bad as it seems? With wittman calling out his players publicly, especially gortat who really seems to be taking exception to it.

I would've thought Witt would be gone 2nd half last year when he was walking off the court before games were over, and we were stinking it up after the all star break. But then you make it to within 2 games and a John wall injury of the ecf, and everybody forgets.

Dat2U has been banned, and has left the board forever. (Seriously).

From what I can tell, it's a 7-day suspension, not a ban. As we all know, Dat2U can be a bit ornery at times. It's part of his character and we like it on our board, but that attitude doesn't fly on some other boards. It looks like Tsherkin has had enough. The Wizards Board mods had to use some pull to keep him from being banned the last time. I don't know if we'll be able to do much about it this time around. I'll look into it.
