Magic, MJ, Bird, Big Wes, etc. All the greats pretty much agree that rookies are not ready to contribute.

In they era of course...it was huge physical and psychological difference...
(more fouling, no players being less mic'd up )
U could talk kids out of their game back then and beat up on them

But look at all the rookies succeeding now...they're not necessarily playing extraordinary but they're bringing what they can to their teams and it's helping...
Winslow is shooting horrible but his energy for those 30mins a game is helping Miami
Stanley Johnson is shooting worse and he's still getting a lot of time..
I would put oubre out there for his defense alone...we're not that bad offensively...we're playing horrible defensively...
With beal out oubre should be our young guy you start to defend...and yea he makes some
Mistakes but he's still tries harder than anyone on our team on that end
Pay your beals....or its lights out!!!
Bron, Bosh, Wade is like Mike, Hakeem, barkley...3 top 5 picks from same draft
mike, hakeem and Barkley on the same team!!!!

btw I think Marcus Thornton is a good look offensively but if he's going to knock oubre further out he rotation...we don't need him

Thornton might impact Oubre's minutes the final 19 games...but that's not big deal since Oubre wasn't going to get many minutes anyway. More importantly, the Zards could use the scoring off the bench that Thornton is capable of providing.

Because of our horrible defense this year I jus think that's what we need more of u...and internally oubre can provide that or Atleast bring energy on that side of the floor...offense has never really been our calling card

But some guys eligible from China who would be an upgrade over Gooden.

Jianlian Yi, Dorell Wright, Jerrelle Benimon , Eli Holman, Alan Williams, would all be better than Gooden and would be better than making Dudley play the 4.

Wall never passed the ball to Yi.

Yi was absolutely the worst basketball player I've ever seen. And as a 40+ year fan of this franchise, I've seen plenty of them

Yi has greatly improved playing in China, he has improved almost every part of his game, and he is playing a lot of PF now, not just center.
