R.I.P to a smaller guy who did big things. Inspired women to use the term "freak-nasty." Had a song call "Sexy MFer."

I saw him in concert in Pittsburgh in the early aughts and he put on an amazing show! The stage was shaped like an X or +. The crowd was all around and I was trying to guess where the front was. Turns out he went into out to each end of the X/+ so each part of the crowd had him in front of them at one point or another.

He was a person who seemed to transcend race, gender, and time. I thought he would live forever for some reason.
