I'll say this for you, you gave him every chance and far more than most, but when you're done, you're done.

Just in-case people do not check the link, Ernie Grunfeld submitted Andray Blatche's name for appearance on the All-star ballot. Apparently w/o shame or embarrassment. Yeah, this org has some serious problems.

I'm unsure of what the process is for the ASG ballot but where are you seeing that Grunfeld submitted Dray's name? The link above says that the players on the ballot were selected by a panel of media who regularly cover (and possibly do not watch) the NBA.

Nice surprise to see Dray back on the court.

He looked quicker. He handles look more efficient. He moves looked pretty smooth and his shot looked good. He passed the ball around without it sticking. It was a good game from him after missing 4 games. He looked like a vet.

And watching him out there I got the feeling that he actually fits pretty good with this group. If he can play like that, I'm not in a hurry to see him go. At least not just yet. Not unless we get a really solid player in return. I know a lot of people want him gone immediately and I respect that but this team is better with him then without.

But even with Drays return, then Lewis didnt play. This team needs everyone if they are going to win some games. That includes Mason and Mo hitting some shots. And if they had Ronny, all the better. They could use some veteran depth.

But they played well. They moved the ball better. And young players got some more experience.

HA, like how miami had the gall to submit joel anthony. indy and portland have 6! at least OKC has half a leg to stand on in defending their starting 5.

Another one of Grunfeld's proud moments.

10/24/2010 Wizards extend Blatche's contract that is due to expire in 2012 through the 2014/15 season
07/12/2012 Wizards exercise amnesty clause

That sequence of events along should have gotten him fired. He basically flushed $28 million dollars right down the toilet.
