Spoiler:
It's .10 -- no your eyes aren't deceiving you: someone in this thread described a guy as "a good 3-point shooter" who is shooting them at a ten percent clip.

It's actually 25%. Last year it was 36, and 32 the previous two years. If he has to play at all I rather see him at 3 point line rather doing his inside "moves".

He hit two of them which moved his % from .10 to .25.

Yes, of course, if he has to play at all he should do whatever he does best. But that wasn't my point. My point was the way this positive comment on a guy who would be out of the league if Ernie hadn't decided to give him $20m reflected on the assessment of Trey Burke as somehow having become "solid" when in fact he is just plain awful.

How is Burke awful though? +/- stats still rely heavily on a players teammates. Up until recently most of Burke's mins were a) sparingly and b) with a disorganized benched. The bench has improved drastically and a lot of that is credited to Burke's improved play. And I think it's been noticed by Brooks who increased Trey mins recently. When Brooks plays Wall, Beal, and Burke it's for Trey's spacing and his vastly improved defense. It's ok to admit he's had a solid stretch. Trey's has had monster games before in his career his biggest issues has been consistency. His play could easily slip and all the criticism may be warranted once again. But for now give the guy his credit.

Sorry, no. His play has improved, and better improved than gotten worse! But that doesn't make his play good.

As to getting more minutes -- on the season he's averaging 12 minutes a game. He averaged 13 minutes a game in the last 3 games. So, yeah, I guess his minutes are going up. ??
