I'm not convinced that playing heavier minutes disproportionately increases the risk of injury.

Are guys more likely to get hurt in overtime games; or in games in which they play 36+ minutes? I'd like to see some actual data that proves this before making roster decisions that cost us wins.

It isn't like the Wizards are winning these back to back games anyways. I believe the Wizards are something like 1-6 on the 2nd end of the back to backs. If Wall is coasting on defense like he was in Boston, I believe that's an indication that he is tired.

That's different. I have no problems benching starters who are sucking because they've played too many minutes. In that scenario, even our crappy bench players can come in and approximate the production of an overly tired starter, so you go with the crappy bench player long enough that the starter gets some rest and can return to be effective. I'm just saying that you don't rest players based on an unproven theory that playing at less than 100% due to fatigue increases the chances of injury.

Then I believe we are on the same page. I'm with the Wizards rotations in non-back to back games; at least concerning Wall.
