One question I have is that Wall obviously played great and it sounds like our guys missed alot of good looks but I saw the Wall post game presser and they asked him about Schroeder picking him up half court/full court and Wall said that will not stop him in any way. Then I read some comments from Schroeder saying that after watching film of the first 2 games, he thought Wall was having it too easy bringing the ball up and finding guys so he asked Bud could he start picking Wall up around half or full court. My question is did that bother Wall or our offense in any way or did we just miss shots

It made some difference. The high pick and roll is more difficult to see up when Wall is being guarded closely starting at mid court. Many time times Shroeder avoided the pick, making it totally ineffective. OTOH, almost every ATL pick on Wall worked and we switched which was a disaster. Schroeder went easily by any big that picked him up. I thought Wall's defense was really bad. He should put more pressure on Schroeder.

Why are people singling out good players again ugh. Gortat proved a bunch of people wrong, Beal and Porter are fine, they are good players, they will bounce back.

I say it all the time, but I have to reiterate, Keef did not magically turn into a Paul Millsap at any point this year, the team turned the entire season around because of one huge adjustment that played to everyone's strengths, small ball. The first substitution was Kelly Oubre in for Morris, which spaced the floor, which helps Wall and Beal play offense much easier, helps Otto play his best position at PF where he is much more aggressive offensively and on the glass, and it allows Gortat to get more looks and space in the pick and roll.

I can't stress it enough, getting away from that system is the reason why they fell into a late season slump, they relied on lineups with Bojan playing at guard, Jason Smith guarding PFs, Jennings playing on the wing, way too much Keef Morris.

Two different teams, one that can beat the Cavs in the ECF, and one that can easily blow this series against Atlanta. So far I have seen the bad version of this team.

It's coaching.

Its a shame we haven't even seen our small ball AT ALL yet. Played way too big and Atlanta can easily come back and win this series.

Small ball isn't going to work against Atlanta. Oubre is going to get destroyed every time he gets put on Millsap. Putting him on Ersan would be equally as disastrous. The Hawks aren't going to go away from rotating their frontcourt between Millsap/Howard/Muscala/Ersan. They have the best frontcourt in the east. It's their one advantage in the series.

Why the hell would Oubre be playing power forward? Otto matches up perfectly with both Millsap and Ersan. Jason smith and Keef have been getting wrecked.

Oubre had his worst game on the defensive end in a while. Hopefully he bounces back or maybe he is just a player that plays well at home.

Yeah he said that he approached Wall about it. I don't like it. Trying to butter up to Wall. I hope Wall doesn't lose his aggression or intensity. The good thing is that I think Wall really wanted to go at Dennis to start the series but now I feel like he's Moreso just playing against the NBA as far as wanting to be an elite superstar and wanting recognition

Sad sad sad....listening to ESPN radio and they basically recited what you said word for word...that should piss off the other 4 starters.

Not sure I follow you here. He has tried to DUNK on their entire team every chance he could get.

I know but they made it sound like Dennis approached him after game 3 so I'm talking about the rest of the series
