Re: 2017 NBA Draft 2nd Round - PGs
Going for Trimble would be clear pandering to the casual fandom - which is terribly cynical way to run an organization. I'd rather them make a typically poor personnel choice (like Kobi Simmons) than go the pandering route. Mason and Morris are the 2 PG's that stick out that could be for the Wiz. A long shot is Jawun Evans - he'll likely be gone, but ya never know. One way off the map player who won't get drafted that fascinates me is T.J. Cline, who had a great career at Richmond. He's a jack of all trades player listed at 6'9 230 (but he looks shorter and has very short arms) who averaged 6.9 assists per 40 minutes - as well as 22.7 points and 9.5 rebounds. He's a Satoransky type, if you know what I mean. Oh btw, Cline's mother is Nancy Lieberman. http://www.richmond.com/sports/college/schools/university-richmond/ex-spider-t-j-cline-prepares-for-next-chapter-in/article_2fb0fd45-de48-52ae-b364-3d6e6c73bb01.html

Not sure what you mean by Satoransky type? Is he a terrible shooter? Is he tentative? I've seen Cline and he's a nice all-around player but not sure he's athletic enough for the NBA.

Sato is terrific at many things in Europe; he's not in the NBA. I think Cline would have similar limitations in the NBA and could similarly excell in Europe.

I see your point.
