We haven't exactly beaten any decent teams these past three games. Baby steps.

Well, we didn't even beat the awful teams not too long ago so this is certainly progress.

Yup. Step 1 is to beat the bad teams.

There are a lot of bad teams in this league. There are 17 games against Dallas, Phoenix, Sacramento, Atlanta, Chicago and Brooklyn alone. Win 15 of them, and they only need to play .500 ball against the rest of the league to get to 48 wins.

How many to get to 58 wins? I really need that car.

I had to work late last night, missed the game and just had a box score. Glad they won.

Great point and a reason to be optimistic. But alas, looking at the original schedule I had us winning 55 games...but that goes out the window when you give away 3 gimmes. The hope is we win the season series against Cleveland, Boston, Miami, Toronto and Detroit (i.e. better than 50%) !

Toronto is usually a cakewalk, MIL are beatable. Miami is a worry though, if we drop both games (and thats a very real possibility) it could spill over into the next two games that should be wins.

Back to back road games w/ an airplane ride between them is hard to be sure, but we have rest before the Toronto game. & we have a shot to beat Miami twice (not saying we will).

So... come on guys.... Lets not give games away before they're played! In any case, I'd be happy w/ 2-2 for a stretch like this.
