I don't think the world knows what to make of Bradley Beal.

He just turned 24...but nobody seems to consider him "young talent."

At the same time, nobody entertains the idea or wants to entertain the idea that he's an 'elite' talent.

He's stuck in a weird middle. You could see him averaging 26-28ppg on 60% TS on 50 win teams for the rest of his career....while the rest of the world treats him like a borderline all-star every year.

Just ranting, but Beal really is shaping to be the most underrated player of this era.

I agree that Beal at the moment is underrated.
I could see him moving up the rankings in a year and being properly rated as the best shooting guard in the East if he puts up those kind of numbers.

The defense has been so much better over the last 7 games. That is a really good sign for us going forward.

It seems like they were just dogging it last year and always had the potential to be this solid on D

With how good the offense has been and can be... being solid on D is just enough

Hmmm.

Read on Twitter

I want to see the Wall/Beal/Oubre/Porter lineup start permanently. Despite Porter's struggles with certain PFs, offensively he's so good there and defensively we can switch anything 1-through-4.

The bench is still a huge issue. It's not historically bad like we started off last season but it's still very poor. No offensive punch. Frazier feels like Jennings all over again. Meeks like Thornton. Mahinmi has been dreadful. Smith hasn't been a whole lot better.

Outside of an immediate trade I'd suggest cutting Mac & McCullough and signing a G-league wing and PG and giving them a shot to steal some jobs.

Chris McCullough is a good victory cigar though, right now he's averaging 29 ppg per 36 with a 74 TS%.

Good win, but am I the only person that thinks Milwaukee is way overhyped?

No. You're not the only one.

I heard the talk about how they were going to challenge for a top seed in the east and I never saw it.

Even with a healthy Jabari.

They don't shoot the ball well enough.

As much hype as their "young talent" gets I'd argue the Wizards' "young talent" is significantly better.

I suppose the difference is our younger guys are more experienced so we no longer have the "young perception".

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

They are poorly coached.. I said it when the Bledsoe trade went down, if Kidd can't win a playoff series this season he's got to go

They have a lot of length and athletecism but they desperately need to add 3pt shooters around Antetokounmpo, and rebounding.

Bledsoe probably isnt the best PG for them because he doesnt appear to have much of a catch and shoot game.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

All solid ideas.

Starting that lineup permanently also moves slow ass Morris to the bench. I think he might do more damage there against backup guys until he finds his conditioning or whatever and gets back into form. Run Smith with him. Frazier/Meeks/Oubre/Morris/Smith as our bench mob has decent shot makers (Meeks & Morris) mixed in with guys who can defend their position and above all, hustle their asses off (Frazier, Oubre & Smith).

Ian is overpaid but he could play minutes in a playoff series because of his defense. Recently, in 5 of his past 7 games his DRTG was under 100. Still, his offense is putrid with him committing a couple turnovers per game.
