When Ernie Grunfeld gave this coach 35 million dollars over 5 years I said that's another bad effing decision.

Other coaches like Vogel and Dave Joerger eventually became available later if I recall correctly. Ernie seemed to make a very quick decision without much public consideration. I believe he overpaid but.... I do not know how much those other coaches demanded. There are so many things that I am not privy to. I just have an opinion.

(Happy Thanksgiving to the Wizards people if any of them read this. Y'all did sign Morris Almond the day I suggested to do it! You MFers damn near gave me a heart attack!!! Like Red Foxx on Sanford and Son I thought I was going to have the big one. )

But just like with every other Ernie Grunfeld decision we're stuck with it now. Might work out over time we'll see.

We waited for you all last night....

Otto sat 4ever then came back and was out of rhythm. Otto was scoring well then got sat down. I just dont get it...but thats just one dubious coaching issue.

Beal and Wall again went to hero ball. Wall was ok for once and Beal was horrible when it mattered (turn-over-missed free throw-turnover-cold in ot)....but neither situations should have happened because they had a lead and a chance to play offense in a system...but alas...NO they gave it to Beal...clear out and he failed- his fault? Or bad coaching? Either way same result.

Btw... Wall and Beal are good players...
But we saw Durant and Westbrook...better players...under this coach and we saw them limited by their coaching and not their talent.

You have made me a believer....

Don't forget to add James Harden in that better players list.

Basically, let Brooks develop the talent until everyone reaches a ceiling and then move on to a proper x's and o's coach.

This is year two of a five-year contract.

By my calculations Brooks is owed something like 21 million after this year....

I think the future is right now. Can they really afford to go 3 more years of this coach with these personnel under their current contracts, both coach and players?

Another reason I want Ernie Grunfeld gone is that a new GM might fire Scott Brooks at the end of next season If Necessary. A new GM may stir the pot. Better Personnel might be the problem that Brooks is saddled with... But I don't think so cuz he had great players in Oklahoma... I don't know.

These guys aren't humble enough, they still don't get it, wish we had a coach like Pop that calls his players out on occasion.

The Wizards aren't **** and they act like they've won a bunch of championships already.

These guys aren't humble enough.

They still don't get it.

1000 Amens to that!!!

Mine, too.

Just like with the Redskins I have to learn to look away from the screen sometimes. I have to learn to let go and the pay attention to some other things lest they really make my head explode.

I thought about it since Porter and Oubre started to shine. It is our hope that those guys plus Beal will be better players and hopefully move on fron Grunfeld and Brooks.

I **** hate it when Wall is flexing after he scores and shout about and 1!!!

I think they are delusional about how good they are. Those comments about Cavs losing 1st spot to avoid Wizards or Wall's I'm the best PG in NBA are proving it. It is not the same be confident and be delusional....

I get on John about doing & saying a lot of delusional stuff that I wish he would stop doing/saying, but I really don’t see what’s wrong with him flexing or saying “And-1!” after a basket. That’s just a very common basketball thing. Pretty much everyone does it.

Ernie manages from a position of fear and weakness, he has a long established pattern of panicking and handing-out way too-generous contract terms, a sign of being weak in negotiations with player agents. Ernie's panic-signing of Brooks is another example. Once he got fixated on signing Brooks, he rushed-in like a woman desperate for marriage.

He signed Brooks because he thought it would help to lure Durant.
