To me its a toss up between Gortat and Beal. I went with Beal because he had fewer turnovers and was much better from the ft line. Wall was also terrific and its nice to see Sato continue to play well.

Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Purely based on production Beal is probably that dude, but Gortat's the people's champ.
The Wizards probably have a tougher time staying in the game without Gortat's early contributions, tat looked like a man on mission in that first half.
Great picks, always an option on the roll and he even managed to knock down a few jumpers. His struggles from the freethrow line were a bit of a blemish, but seems like he wasn't the only one that couldn't get it going from the line.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Yeah, that's where I'm at too. Beal had the best night statistically, and appeared to be the best player on the floor so he probably deserves this. But Gortat has one of his best outings of the season and since it's rare for him to get enough touches to win POTG, I'd like to reward him on the nights when he is in contention.
I'm going with Gortat. Spread the glory around a bit.
