He’s clearly not been right.

If we weren’t in such a precarious playoff position, I think it’d be a no brainer to sit him for a month with the Allstar break in the middle.

And that’s a good call considering his contract.

Injection site is very swollen after PRP. Honestly it’s a little concerning to do PRP mid season, usually offseason.

——

Patients may experience approximately two to three days of being sore and usually are prescribed pain medication. Patients need to rest for a few days or weeks after the treatment to not push the injected tissue too quickly. Typically, pain relief starts to occur within three to four weeks and continues to improve over a period of three to six months following an injection. The recovery time frame varies depending on what we are treating. Sometimes arthritic joints respond much faster to these injections than a patient being treated for tendonitis.

Great. Not only does Ernie suck but we also have one of the worst medical staffs in the league. No one comes back on time or is healthy on time

It's a good thing the All-Star break is coming up, if he's continuing to struggle with tendonitis rest and treatment for a full month are probably in order.

This is the kind of injury that will eventually result in a rupture/break and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Cousin's injury prompted John to get another look.

Cousin's has struggled with his left achilles as early as late October and look at how things turned out for him..

Edit:

Nevermind, the google search function let me down the latest mention I can find about Cousins achilles issues dates back to his Kings days in 2015 when he had problems with his right tendon.

The difference between a hurt and ailing Wall and a healthy and energetic Sato isn't that great anyhow. Wall should get the rest and get healthy. It's 9 games until the All-Star break. Maybe Wall's absence costs us 2 victories. I'll take that if it means we get a healthy Wall in March and April.

My biggest concern is that it seems like it will be difficult to rest both Porter and Wall while still winning games. I think Porter is going to have to keep playing, at least for the next 5 or 6 games. Maybe he can sit out the final 2 games before the All-Star break.

I hope is knee surgery doctors give him all the advise on sitting and exercises because the Wizards team doctors seem to not really do their due dilligence.

Wall 100% should sit out of all star weekend.

This now brings to light AGAIN how inept this front office has been for 4 seasons having no real back up at the PG position.

I’m all for a trade of a 1st round for a real back up PG.

Sato is the backup PG. I have no issues with him and he's played solid since he got a chance to get those minutes.

If this team can't maintain playoff positioning, I don't want to be down ANOTHER pick for ANOTHER rental.

I don’t see Sato being a starting caliber point for a playoff team I’m sorry. As a back up he has potential but he is still pretty unproven.

What would our first round be anyway? Pick 15-20? Not going to provide me much. If there’s a decent point out there that can start in walls absence and then be a quality back up once he gets back would be hugely beneficial and shouldn’t let us drop too far.

Beal cannot play point if Wall is out for an extended amount of time.

If we're going to be in the lottery, let's be in the damn lottery. If we're gonna pick 15th, let's pick 15th. Oubre was the 15th pick. Kawhi Leonard was the 15th pick.

We need rotation players on cheap rookie contracts. We can't keep dealing picks. I'm sorry but that attitude is why we have the bigs we have and why we don't have someone like a Collins or Allen as our backup C right now and our Center of the future.

This is a good draft coming up. We need cheap players.

Its been embarrassing how much people here have been bad talking him given how obvious it is he wasn't and isn't right. I said months ago I'd love for him to rest the entire year and mini tank to improve our pick. If you followed his off season he overworked himself after a long season and two straight seasons of rest in the summer due to injury. That was a mistake and it's catching up to him now. He needs to only do low impact work in the summer.

Sato and Frazier were just fine today. Sure, they aren't always going to be that awesome, but its a good enough combo for when our all-nba PG is injured.

What i'd like to see is an upgrade at backup SG with more of a combo guard. If our first is going out I'd want Lou Williams coming back...

Even just a lineup adjustment to give Beal more extended breaks with Sato sliding over to SG. He can guard SG's and moves well enough off the ball to help there too.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.
