Back-to-back game. It was a schedule loss as much as anything else. Plus all the media hype and pressure going around over tweets...queridiculo wrote:Only watched a few minutes, but it was obvious that this wasn't going to be Washington's night from the get.
With all of the energy in the building from the Eagles victory and the Wizards playing their 3rd game in 4 nights they needed to come out strong.
Instead they looked overwhelmed for a good portion of the opening quarter and Brooks being a bit slow to react to the Sixers ball pressure didn't help.
Reading that Brooks again went with Beal at the point blows my mind. Is it the 4th or the 5th game in a row now where he's had that no ball movement lineup out there?
Everything grinds to a halt when Beal is on-ball, how does Brooks not see that?
I am glad they kept it relatively close for the most part. They also just do not match up very well against the 76ers.
Next game...
