With all of the energy in the building from the Eagles victory and the Wizards playing their 3rd game in 4 nights they needed to come out strong.

Instead they looked overwhelmed for a good portion of the opening quarter and Brooks being a bit slow to react to the Sixers ball pressure didn't help.

Reading that Brooks again went with Beal at the point blows my mind. Is it the 4th or the 5th game in a row now where he's had that no ball movement lineup out there?

Everything grinds to a halt when Beal is on-ball, how does Brooks not see that?
Back-to-back game. It was a schedule loss as much as anything else. Plus all the media hype and pressure going around over tweets...

I am glad they kept it relatively close for the most part. They also just do not match up very well against the 76ers.

Next game...

I don't know why Sato isn't allowed to come in until the last 2 minutes of the fourth (or in this games case not at all).
I have posted this before but I think Scott Brooks was an NBA guard much like Frazier; and his style of play is what Brooks prefers.

Scott Brooks generally has Kelly Oubre in at off guard when Beal is his primary ball handler. Porter, Morris, and Mahinmi are his preferred frontcourt. I believe he's working in Mike Scott into more minutes.

For whatever reason Brooks doesn't appear to see how Satoransky is the best option to handle the ball.

It may be that he just doesn't want to sit Kelly Oubre. I can understand that. He also might not want to sit Markieff Morris. I can understand that, too.

Brooks doesn't see that whenever Satoransky is in the game good plays are run.

Also beat Toronto (twice), Minnesota, Detroit, and Portland

And Orlando just beat Cleveland.

We have plenty of quality wins including HOU, @TOR, TOR, @MIN, @POR, @DEN, @DET, @MIL, @BOS, OKC, @MIA to name a few. It was he was insistent on diminishing all our accomplishments during the five game streak.

We still haven't lost three in a row this season.

Going to need Sato to play more vs. Boston.

Horford though always loves playing the Wizards.

Washington has not had an answer for Al Horford.

I wonder if Mike Scott against him might help? In Atlanta they were teammates and they practiced against each other.

It's typically other guys that have hurt Washington in these matchups with the Celtics.

Sure Horford always plays well against the Wizards, but I'm more concerned about guys like Tatum, Brown, Rozier and Smart popping off than Horford and Irving.

Return to Washington Wizards
