Should Scott Brooks get fired?
I feel like he isn't the right coach for this team.

Re: Should Scott Brooks get fired?
Sure, I can see a scenario where firing Brooks might make sense, but given the current circumstances I just don't see the point of it.
Even if you find an adequate replacement mid-season, there's not going to be much time for the coach to put his stamp on the team, and more than likely candidates you'd want to remain with the team longterm aren't going to be too thrilled to start that process on the fly.
The other thing is, the Wizards have much bigger fish to fry.
Before the Wizards can even begin to entertain trading players and firing coaches they need to make a cut with the headman in charge, and I bet that whoever is in charge after that is going to want to take his time evaluating Brooks work before making any rash decisions.
You'd need to have a full on mutiny at hand to fire him at this point, tough to justify otherwise.

He shouldn't have been hired in the first place because he sucks and he's dumb.
He won't be fired because he's guaranteed too much money.

Agreed with above. In no way should Brooks be fired before EG.
Not a brooks fan, but we arent going to do better midseason.

Realistically, there is no chance that Ted fires a guy with 2.7 years left on his $7M per year contract. The earliest he will be fired is this summer.
Fire Ernie now. Leave Brooks in as a tank commander for the rest of the year and then fire him this summer after our new GM has had a chance to pick his coach.

Reason why Brooks may be fired: it’s easiest to fire a coach than exchange personnel in middle of a season.
Reason why Brooks won’t get fired: cause he has big guaranteed money and multiple years left on his contract. Ted won’t want to eat the money when this franchise needs much bigger changes than just the coach. He’ll wait till he can tackle the others during the offseason.

Or Scott Skiles, or Jim Lynam, or Bernie Bickerstaff, or Dick Motta (if he's still alive). What's Randy Wittman up to these days?
Anyone not named Ed Tapscott.

Sorta similar to the 4hr prolonged lovemaking erection. Ejaculant saves the day. Bad stuff was gonna happen before the change of course.
Idea bust through in a nick o time.

I truly believe that the average person can be a good NBA coach IF that's something that they are gifted to do.
