All this time, Otto has been snubbed the allstar team.
'Bout time you got with the program....
But I've already taken you down too many times to bother doing it again.
Anyway, I think the reason I'm reacting so strongly is that Otto was absolutely terrific last year & the year before, & very few people wanted to give him the appropriate credit for it. Yet, this year, when he's not playing anywhere near as well, i.e. when he's down, everyone is ready to kick him.
You really sure you want to be at the head of that pack, Jwiz? You really think it makes you look like you know something? Nah... it doesn't.
I think the Wall-obsessed fans are looking to scapegoat. Porter IS having a miserable season by his standards.
Like you, I think he's the player that we've seen in the past.
ALSO, I vividly recall rookie-contract Beal being a player I MISTAKENLY HATED ON JUST LIKE OTHERS ARE DOING WITH PORTER NOW. The difference: Otto signed a max deal and is the highest player. I was JUST SURE THAT BEAL SHOULD BE TRADED before he got injured...again. WITHOUT looking it up, I know that through 4 seasons, Bradley Beal had missed OVER 82 games. He only played 3/4ths of the time. He missed an entire season injured. I assumed that trend would continue.
LIKEWISE, I think people are piling on a player who will bounce back. Otto Porter is who the Wizards thought when they gave him his deal.
(But, I won't be surprised at all IF he's the one traded in the next two days).
JWIZ, Sorry. It's NOT that serious with me.
And it's not that serious with me. I made a joke about stats. PIF made it personal. Me thinks maybe you guys are a bit sensitive. Especially with NEVER GONNA SNIFF CARON JOCKSTRAP PORTER stinking up the joint.
