Amazing. Beal somehow managed to finish with 27 points, 9 boards, 9 assists and 4 steals with a .574 TS%.

The game really has become easy for him. He just reads the defense so well.

I did not advocate that he sucked. This guy may be better than we all think of him. Thing is? is he wasted here? and should be better off somewhere else.?

Probably.

Beal is a star. Still very young and on a nice contract. Fun to watch, a true competitor and a likeable dude. I'd easily want to keep him on the team if I were a Wiz fan.

Sure, he's great but unfortunately Wall's supermax + awful summer 2016 signings + all the other moves by Ted/Ernie have ruined Wizards' future. They could get a lot for him and start a rebuild this summer* but more likely they'll keep him to sell tickets and be a mediocre team. Just so sad to see all the wasted potential during this Wall era - or I guess we should call it Beal era now.

(*That's not happening and we'll very likely see pretty much the same roster next season. I'm not excited at all. Hopefully they nail the draft and have a new coach & GM so there's something to watch for.)

Well, yea, about this game... I watched about 5 minutes and then quit.

Give this win to Chasson Randle -- kid played 15 minutes & scored 12 points on 6 shots & 2 FTAs while getting 3 steals.

^ We still have plenty of fans who think we have a good chance to make the playoffs.
One guy on Consor's post game last night thinks even 7th place. SMH. Re Beal, they were talking
about whether he will or should make an all-NBA team. I'm agnostic on that but I do know one
thing, if he did, we would be that much more screwed. Oh and I heard some say that they
thought our 4thQ defense was good. OMG, there was a lengthy time span where every SAC
shot was a layup dunk or foul.
A lot of what we call 'thought' is just mental activity

Miami is sitting in the 8th spot and they don't even want to be there. They dumped most of their shooting at the deadline in an effort to lose games.

Some organizations are able to look down the road and some only worry about tomorrow no matter how pointless it is.

Miami is in a similar situation to Washington. Their deadline moves were solely to get under the luxury tax, but they are still trying to make the playoffs because it's DWade's last season.

Riley and Spoelstra are staunchly anti-tanking so idk how you formulated the idea that they are trying to lose on purpose.
