He has pretty good mobility and athleticism for a big, if you ask me.

Offensively, fine. He's playing against plodders. Can he guard pick and rolls in the NBA? Defend the perimeter? Strong enough to protect the paint? If he was so athletic for 6-11, 250, why is he not in the NBA at 26? Bring him over as a backup or third center, I'm fine with that. He can definitely shoot, there's no doubt about that.

A 3 in a 5's body. Apparently, he's known as a good passer who dribbles well, but I'd question if those skills translate to the much quicker-paced and athletic NBA.

Well that doesn’t make much sense. He averaged 9 rebounds per36 in the slower pace fewer possession euro league. 14-9-4, 2-1 A/TO. .605 TS%, last season he had a .658 TS%. 50/40/90 guy as a center. He’s in his prime at 26 years old. Not sure what there is to not like.

My post was about passing and dribbling skills not necessarily translating. Not sure what his shooting and other stats from Europe have to do with that. From all reports, he was used as a perimeter player offensively. My guess is the Wiz hope to use him in a Mirotic-like role in the NBA.

Great comparison. That was 20 years ago. I'm guessing he would have been drafted had he played in this era. BTW, I like his offense. He can really shoot it and have no issues bringing him in as a backup center or third big. But defensively he's going to have issues.
