As I type these words and bump this, I'm on FB chatting with Scabs.

He MADE me do this.

@Scabs304 Patriots avg 32 pts a game last yr so I'm seeing the same offense w/ new weapon and healthy Wes Walker. But season will tell story

@Scabs304 For young players, preseason does matter! Vets not so much, but young guys it matters

@Scabs304 Why Pats should scare u: 1. 14-2 w/o Ocho and Branch all year! 2. Wes Walker fully healthy now 3. Defense looks faster and better

@Scabs304 The Colts? Who are 4-24 in preseason the last few years? Preseason doesn't mean much, I agree, BUT the Patriots are looking GREAT

@Scabs304 The Skins don't have Brady, and elite QB's win in the NFL. Skins are in division with Romo, Vick, Manning! Not a easy road

@Scabs304 You really comparing the skins and the Patriots? Really? Two words for you - TOM BRADY!!!!!

.

I don't think archive.org saved all 127 pages of the original, the most illuminating thread in the history of RealGM.

But at least it saved the very first post of this thread.

Gentlemen, I present to you -- Scabs at his very best.

It appears that archive.org will crawl any page that's *listed*.

So instead, go here.

You'll be able to see the Laron thread's page 1 and pages 125, 126, and 127 (but you have to come back out to look at those last pages separately and can't advance by hitting the next button).

The Official Laron Profit Thread

@profit4eva brought me back after are Westbrook and who would or not be a better fit in OKC debate. It's nice to at least being able to read the first and last page of the bible, but it sucks that we can not find wisdom in the other 123 pages. We can now listen to the words of legod on 980 so we really had something to rejoice this holiday season.

I guess Sportstalk 980 will need a new basketball insider now. . . :o

I'm gonna miss Profit on 980. He was a great NBA insider, but he also knew other sports and had a good voice and presence on radio. I think in a couple years time he could have had his own show, but oh well best of luck to him as an assistant on the Magic( he's gunna need it  ).
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Profit is God!

We are um... still a little low on signatures, but the petition came out just 10 years ago, so you can't expect many.

Profit will be great for the bottom line.
Breaking News: In a shocking development, Wizards owner Ted Leonsis has sold the NBA franchise to a consortium of participants in a discussion board devoted to the team on realgm.com. Details to follow....

I think his mantra never took off:

The concept of Basketball Profit is not limited to Basketball alone. A players life is either profitable or unprofitable. Laron has all it takes to make a basketball life a profitable one, regardless of their disappointments. To make righteous gains, Leron requires you to be teachable, willing to receive and act on his instructions.

Seems simple... I think all our players would be HOF candidates after a couple of years.
