I’m grateful that the board and team seem both to be off life support. This has been a great place for me to “hang out” with the few other masochists... err I mean Bullets fans... for 15 years or so by now. And I’m thankful for your companionship.

Isn't it fun, win or lose, to follow this Wizards team?!?

Happy Thanksgiving all!

Agree, although I have gotten very busy of late and have been missing some wins. Their record when I watch is much worse, but has been generally very fun, now they have some evolving, developing young players.

The hardest part to watch, as is often the case with young teams, is the haphazard and unsophisticated lack of defense. But I see the defense came through last night, holding the Suns to a mere 132 points on 63.7 TS%

LOL.

Weirdly, it's even "fun" (a kind of fun anyway) to see IT play -- he was so tremendous, that it makes me glad to see him able to resume his career. In any way. Not that he's helping us. But, since, really, we're not trying to do anything this year but grow our young guys... it doesn't matter all that much.

Bonga got a nice block from behind on one of the Suns going for a layup that looked nice.

Well said!

This is fun. We are cyber family. I'm especially thankful for all the support you and others have given me.

How about these Wizards!

That is the very best part. Winning is fun but the lessons learned even in losses are like ... "paying it forward".

I think he's a perfect tank commander. He's fun to watch even when we are losing. He has moxie and his body language is always upbeat even when he is walking the ball up at a snails pace with the team behind. He hits big shots and as always it is fun to root for the underdog and the little guy. I think he goes a long way towards giving the team a positive attitude unimpressed with heavy hitters. Beal still will get down or sulk on a possession or two after not getting a call, but IT always always has swagger. every minute on the court for him is stolen money, but he has earned his name already and I think helps young players understand that 'size of the fight in the dog' maxim. He's fun to cheer for when we are sucking our way to a top pick. I suppose long run it might marginally help players like Justin Robinson or Chiozza to get PT instead of IT. And the chemistry is better when Ish runs the back up squad, so other teammates get possessions on offense that help build confidence. But still, we nearly won a couple games by accident and hot shooting, the bottom of the East is a dogpile, any team is at risk to climb into the 8th seed. We need to pad these early losses in case young pups start figuring it out in the 2nd half or John Wall comes back late in the year with fire and focus and a vengeance.

He sure has... Fortunately, we won the Phoenix game. Otherwise, Brooks would have been the goat for sure.
