Always interesting to see the game flows:

That starter line up is nice.

Also solid was that Stars plus Euro flow with

Russ
Beal
Deni
Davis
Mo

But we really have to figure out what we are doing with our bench and back ups. Putrid no matter what he tried.

Just play these players as much as possible regardless of position:
Westbrook, Beal, Bryant, Brown, Hachimura, Bertans, Avdija, and Bonga.

Don't worry. Superballman is being overly pessimistic.

There's no chance Ish, Neto and Lopez play a combined 44 minutes while Hachimura, Brown and Bonga only get 50. People like to hate on Brooks, but his rotations aren't THAT bad.

I think Brooks will handle the rotations at SG, SF, PF and C just fine. Lopez will probably play a few too many minutes (which will mostly only hurt Wagner), but other than that, all the minutes at those positions are going to come from Beal, Brown, Avdija, Bonga, Bertans, Hachimura, Bryant and Wagner.

The only thing he will do consistently that you won't like is that he'll play one of Ish/Neto every night at backup PG rather than playing Brown there. So that'll be about 14 minutes going to vets who aren't part of our future rather than developing our guys. He may occasionally play Robinson in place of Brown, but probably only in garbage time.

Disagree. Playing Smith next to Westbrook is awful, that can’t happen. Playing Smith instead of Neto is bad enough. Everyone but Rui was there for game 1, and he decided to play Ish more than Brown and Bonga, that is inexcusable. His rotations really are THAT bad. As bad as they can possibly be. We should be complaining that Lopez played over Wagner, and Mathews wasn’t even dressed for the game but our expectations are so low, we settle for just not playing bizarre 3 PG lineups.

One game, Nat.

As to Lopez over Wagner -- I don't think anyone would call me a fan of signing Robin Lopez, but it is worth mentioning that Moe played 6 minutes & picked up 3 fouls, so he was a self-check that night.

When you look at our three centers as a whole... We must have the most annoying cast of characters to opposing centers in the league. Especially Bryant and his obnoxious hyperactivity level and Wagner with his constant pushing and taking charges.

Oh a side note, talk about annoying, man I can't stand Dwight Howard, watching him that game knowing he won a ring after that **** season he pulled on the Wizards. :banghead:

Less so than the other 2 for sure, but he's also got to be annoying to go against, his size and physicality, keeps his body on you and boxing out (led the league in box outs per 36). Plus that floppy hair!

It could be a new analytics stat... Annoyance Level/Odor rating (ALO).
