Of course, some guys get good quicker than others. Plus, every once in a while there's a unicorn -- a guy like Wes Unseld who comes into the league & is rookie of the year & MVP. Actually, has anyone but Unseld done that? Don't think we're likely to see that again unless the draft rules change, & we go back to drafting 4-year players. ....

In my lifetime of being a wizards fan, the team has NEVER had a player that is capable of averaging 10 rebounds a game and can switch onto guards and keep them infront of him. Not one single player. They don’t have a single player on the roster that can be a small ball 5 right now. It’s always been traditional plodding C’s&guys like Rui/Morris/Dudley

Gus Johnson? Of course that's been quite a few years . . . Chris Webber more recently was quick enough; maybe even Juwan Howard.
