One to two shooters. Sub par defending at three positions. No rim protection.

No plays called.

It’s ALL on Brooks.

I'll give you that Brooks can be better at play-calling down the stretch, but it's a bit hyperbole the other things. The "Sub-par" defenders I assume you are saying are Smith, Neto, and Bertans? It's not like Matthews or Rui are world-beater defenders off the bench so hard to fix that. And Len is an above average rim protector by the eye test & statistically. Better than Lopez & a bit worse than Gafford if you're purely talking shot-blocking.

Seems to me the main legit criticism could be Brooks giving Westbrook too much control down the stretch of games? In terms of "play calling" for this team, I get the sense Westbrook is given a lot of reign to make things up on the fly as the PG. That dynamic may be a fair criticism but given how well it's worked lately, it's a tough critique right now I think.

I just thinking fighting tooth & nail with the Hawks on the road in 2 straight games without Beal - it's tough to really blame Brooks too much for the outcome.

Pretty easy to blame Brooks for playing a 3 pg lineup all year despite all the evidence that it doesn't work.

So, just went back and glanced at schedule. Win half of these and you are probably the 5th or 6th seed.

@ PHI (opening night)
vs. ORL
vs. ORL (17 point lead in 4th quarter)
vs. CHI
vs. CHI
vs. MIL (first of the home back to back with Bucks)
@ NYK (17 point lead)
@ TOR (Tampa - Clark Jr. Buzzer Beater)
vs. SA
@ DAL
@ MIL
@ ATL

Wow...no further comments your honor..

Brooks is such a liability. It's obvious the Wiz can find a more competent coach in the off-season. I hope any success in the plan-in tournament won't lead to any stupid extension of his contract. This team's ceiling is so capped under Brooks.

Yup.

I just want a HC who's proven they can do more with less. And actually, you know, coaches late game execution.

I say we have lost 7-13 more games because of him.
In the east that matters. A lot look at where we would be if it were not for brooks. Hell we wouldn't even be in the play in. I hope a mark Jackson is pulled and he gets fired regardless.
