Rui. If he was this aggressive all of the time we’d be so much better as a team
Gafford. Brought energy, protected the rim well tonight
Beal. Finding ways to get to the rim against a top 5 defense every game.
Making extreme statements like "only" sounds like there are "no" Jokics in this draft? Jokic is an engine that was drafted in the 2nd round. Always a chance to see diamond dropped by sloppy burgular after a theft.

This one goes to Rui. 8/12 shooting, with 3/6 from 3-point land. Add 13 rebounds. And a technical!!
I hope this is an awakening for him. He should know that he can "hang" with these fellas.

Rui’s best game as a Wiz, so he’s got to be him. Honorable mention to Gafford. Also good game by Bertans, shame about his injury.

I gave Russ his only vote so far. His shooting was awful, but he made his FT's and 21 rebounds to go with 14 assists... that's kinda good.

Rui
Gaff
Bertans

Russ was more wtf than omg, by a lot.
Beal was a turnover machine

That we won despite our stars being sub par speaks to how impactful
Embiid is. In the GT, it was brought up we lost players too, and we did.
But Embiid isn’t just any player. Without him, we have a fair chance.
With him, we have a minuscule chance.

Oh yeah, All hail Robin Lopez aka captain hook

No doubt Beal struggled. But you have to give a lot of the credit for that to Ben Simmons and Danny Green, who just happen to be two of the very best perimeter defenders in the game. Yet Beal made some big shots at crunch time, especially that tough fallaway jumper on the baseline.

Russ shot a terrible FG%. But he's one of the few players in the NBA who can shoot badly and still have a major impact on helping his team win because of all the other things he does, like getting to the FT line, passing and rebounding.

Rui is my POG. Kid stepped up big on the big stage. Many of us have said that Rui's potential was directly linked to him becoming better 3pt shooting. Looks like we're starting to see that happen.

Rui without a doubt!!

All in all an outstanding game from him! He's been shooting a high % all series -- but in this case it was high % on far higher volume. I can't remember the last time Rui took 12 FGAs in a game.

But what really did it last night was his rebounding -- again, I can't remember a game in which Rui grabbed 13 boards.

Gafford was blocking everything in sight. Harris was not going into the lane with Gafford inside. No Embiid made a huge difference obviously.

I went Rui for the attaboy to encourage him to do better. But considered a vote for the real MVP: Lopez for putting Embiid on his assssss and out of the game :clown:
