The Wizards' tank is a powerful thing. It is not to be mocked or trifled with. It is stronger than you or I or any other force in Nature.

The Wizards' tank is mighty and you would do well to respect it.
Satan is happy with your progress.

What a horrible game. Can't keep his dribble alive, can't hit a shot. Hope he starts to learn half court basketball.

Atlanta is a good defensive team. This is where not having SF with handles and scoring skills kills a team. That is usually your crunch time player.

Good for the tank but Im kind of pissed they lost.

Just to vent. Wall did play like ass. He just didnt show up and that is not excusable.

Coaching loss IMO. Wittman cooled Nene, benching him in the first and third. The lead went from 15 to 5 in a hurry.

Wittman went small when he could he tried Nene with Seraphin. He's still playing Vesely as a PF and with Seraphin at C--very bad combo. Vesely made some real good plays, but ATL started the come back scoring right at the rim.

Also, Singleton really had a bad second half after a good first. hands, I was disappointed with how easily Joe Johnson scored on Singleton.

Wizards might have still lost, but Wittman really should try a big lineups with Seraphin, Nene, and possibly even Vesely, in a game like this one.

Wall's offensive game is raw, it has so many holes. He has no jumper, no floater, and sub-par dribbling and passing.

Really? Wall shooting the 3-pointer for the tie? He shouldn't have been on the floor.

Best post of the whole night. We can learn how to win next year when we've got a top 3 pick on our roster. As long as were competitive right now I'm happy.

He's a 2nd year player with no real help until about 3 games ago. Even Wade had Shaq in his 2nd season to carry most of the burden while he just did his thing. No such luxury here.
Just let the young boys play! It's truly the only hope at this point.

While you may be right, as a fan, I can not handle too many losses like this. :-?

Yes. It is actually better to keep losing right now.

Right now we look like a professional ball club for about 40 minutes.

Tonight, Crawford was balling through 3 1/2 quarters.

Nene was very strong in the first.

Wall just stunk tonight. Teague outplayed him. Hinrich got the best of Mack and Crawford late.

I disagree. While he hasn't had a good game, he hasn't done anything to make us lose. He's only taken 9 shots, has a plus 8 in(+/-) and has only played 30 minutes. This lose is on the gunner, formally known as Jordan Crawford.

he didn't do anything to make us win either..

Correct, but how does that blame him and make him take full responsibility for the lose, as TheBigThree stated?

It's the former, not the latter IMO.

I feel like Wittman made a bunch of bad moves this game, but it was good for the tank.

That's not sound logic. If our best player even has a mediocre game we win that game easily. Crawford's incessant chucking was bad, but Wall didn't contribute at all offensively today.

If he's not at the very least giving players easy shots he is most definitely helping us lose.

Don't get me wrong, I love Wall and hope this trade will help him learn how to play in the half court, but that game was on him. Hope he comes out strong tomorrow.

Apparently he set up a play for mason from 3 but he did it wrong. he designed the pick and roll at the top of the key, that's too close to the point where mason should have grabbed the pass and shot the ball so he had to slow down and his man recovered... Doc Rivers does that for Allen all the time, except the screen is on the "3pt elbow" moving towards the top of the key opponents show hard off the screen on Pierce thinking that's the play then ray comes flying from the weakside. If Ray can't create space between his man then Garnett re-screns, now for Allen and there's pierce on the other side.

but whatever. Great game and Wizards lost, good for the tank and to give players confidence that they can beat anyone...

Ciao!

Wall being plus 3 over Mack isnt saying much when Mack was playing bad also. 1-6 Mack is really nothing special. He is just a safe type player who can kind of run the offense as a back up.

Backing they got nothing from their PGs.

1-16 4 assists 2 rebounds 10 pts.

Everyone else on the team played pretty well.

The lead by 11 in rebounds after 3 but ended up down 2.

Three point shooting ... 4-18

PG play and 3 balls cost them the game. I can see where Wall as the #1 pick would get the lions share of the blame for the poor PG play.

They played well all game. I dont think it is fair to say he made a lot of mistakes. Sure he could have made different moves here and there but for the most part, it worked.

Nene should be a strong voice in getting them to play the right way down the stretch.

+2. This team has lost two straight tough ones but it is like night and day compared to how the team played with McGee and Young here. Nene provides some toughness, good help defense and inside scoring that this team severely lacked. However, he is not going to, by himself, erase the inexperience on this team.

Sure, I'd like to see a win. However, a competitive game while keeping our low lottery pick more secure is just fine and dandy with me too. If this team continues to play this way and we get a good pick and pick up another good player in FA, this team could be pretty darn good next year.
