Man, Vesely's shot is getting spiked like it's a volleyball game. First Hibbert with a block and now Amundsen just spiked that.

Jan needs to hit the weight room. That might have worked in Serbia, but not in this league.

The ball stuck in Wall's hands a lot. Witt didn't adjust with Singleton getting killed by Granger. Not sure if Martin would have done any better but that sub could have been made early. Obviously, Wall should have been on the bench after the first 360.

It just seems to me the Pacers collectively decided they are much better than the Wizards. George and Amundsen stepped up. Dantay Jones is killing. They are getting whatever the want now.

Good news is more ping pong balls. Young guys are playing.

Did he try two 360 moves ? I must have missed the first.

Vesely with 3 rebounds in 30 minutes. I am not getting visions of Noah.

To think, at halftime I blew off an appointment to get my taxes done. :(

Outscored by 27 points in this half. Wow.

Tyler Hansbrough is just so deliciously foulable. I don't know how you'd resist just doing it all the time. The mental discipline of these professionals is commendable.

edit: I mean look at him run, I am entirely in the single entendre when I say I would hit that hard.

Without the mask and even with it, there's something about Tyler Hansbrough's face.

What was the time mark that Wall got benched. 6:00 ?

Sound be interesting to hear the post game interviews.

They were in this game before "what" happened ?

Why didnt they keep feeding Chuck? He was on fire.

Atrocious game by Wall. 4-15 5 turnovers 3 assists and schooled by Collison. And how did he stop feeding Crawford. Was he trying to keep up or something ? It's almost like he saw Craw getting him and just figured, time for me to get mine.

God I hope that is not what he was thinking.

JJ, you are gaining credibility as it becomes more obvious there is much validity to your arguments against the hometown hero.

This performance tonight by a #1 overall pick is shocking.

Shhh. Don't tell anyone. I think everyone put me on ignore once they decided I was insane.

And you were the hardest sell of all.

I'm not even watching the game, but I can tell it's a Wallapalooza

Yes, it has rather been the online basketball forum equivalent of insider trading this evening.

Yeah, that was kind of like selling white sheets to a Klansman, monte. Terrible political incorrectness, I know.

monte, if you watched this one I guarantee you would not have believed it was John Wall out there. This was BAD even for him. Probably his worst game as a pro.

That might have been the worst game i have ever seen from Wall.

On the positive side Crawford and Seraphin had big games. Over his last 4 games Seraphin is averaging 16 ppg.

We need to shut down wall for the rest of the year and then see what we can get for him in a trade. He can't play

dlts20 wrote:Its not about Wall playing bad. Its something else. He's playing bad because he just seems disengaged right now. He has like a blank look on his face and he doesnt even seem to be trying at all times. Maybe all the minutes & the dog days have caught up to him. I kinda think he has maybe checked out and just wants the season to end.

I wouldnt bench him though. I would give him a chance to redeem himself. I think the long 2nd quarter benching was enough to get the hint. I also often wonder do our coaches say anything to our players. Sometimes you need to tell him that he's playing like crap or that he needs to ball harder so they get the point

I don't know what it is, but I agree. Is he being petulant? I would say he lacks confidence, but most of his mistakes are of the out-of-control or quick shot variety.

Maybe he is just tired. Mental fatigue happens to the best of us.

Mental fatigue sounds right. That and him and Crawford are a terrible duo. Even when Crawford is on its a bad thing because it takes everyone else on the floor out of the offense. With a minute or so left in the 1st he had more shots than the rest of the team combined. if you're Wall, you play the entire first quarter with Crawford who is the ultimate ball stopper. You both go to the bench but when you finally get back in with two minutes to go you're sharing the floor with Crawford again. Then Wall came out aggressive in the 3rd and forced a few things, almost as if he was trying to make it a point that he wasn't going to defer that quarter. This goes to coaching. Crawford will never be the focal point of any offense in the NBA yet it seems like the entire offense is designed around him. Wall is not effective off the ball. Start Wall, let Crawford get accustomed to the 6th man role...That's the future anyways...why not get them used to their roles? This is the problem with "tanking" and Ted let Wittman ride out the season. The habits that are being formed what they're doing now is not going to translate to real basketball or the start of next season. They're just wasting their damn time.
