Call me crazy but I really miss RMason, Mo Evans, and Cartier Martin right now. Ariza is so awful. Him and crawford just kill spacing.

Played great, much more efficient than Gay. I think he'll really help them.

Wittman is clearly over his head. Temple started again, Ariza getting heavy minutes....the entire gameplan is centered around NÉNE!!!!! Spacing won't be good without at least a second shooter, but its even worse when your entire offense runs through Néne and while he has the ball, Okafor is also in the lane. They're playing an archaic style of ball and continue to attack the opponents strengths.....unwatchable. If this is the gameplan, they're better of bringing Wall in off the bench again....

Jan sucks, but at least he moves without the ball. No front court player on this team knows how to move without the ball except for him. This team is painful to watch. The lack of a stretch 4 & a guard on the bench who can shoot, and the lack of font court speed is terrible. Wittman is terrible. 46 points in the last 3 quarters???...really??? This is becoming a pattern; high scoring first quarters followed up by high school caliber offense for the next three quarters. I'm glad I dvr'd this one....I was able to save an hr

Wittman blamed the loss on us abandoning the inside out game at the end..LOL he's worthless. Time for him to make an exit. He made a 30 yr old injury prone center and Kevin Seraphin his offensive focal points....

I'm kind of tipsy but I can honestly say this team is terrible. The difference between this year and last year, is I really like the guys on this team. John Beal Webster all seem like good guys and I want them to succeed. Especially John. Unfortunately we are the Wizards and will be terrible forever.

seraphin's jersey will say "Mr. Hook Shot" or "What Is A Rebound"

Webster's will say "Baseline banger" or "corner 3" or "at least I'm getting playing time"

Wall's will say "Brick Wall" or "I swear I've been practicing on it" or "Play me in horse"

Well looks like the Wall honeymoon is over. Starting to wonder if he'll ever get those turnovers under control. I've just about given up on that jumpshot.

Just a pure hypothetical, switch a fully healthy Wall with a fully healthy Rondo from the start of the season, what would the Celtics and Wizards records look like today?

What is happening to them. They were the 7th best rebounding. And only 3 FTA for the game ? That has to be a low for team for the entire league. 3 FTA. For the entire team. For an entire game.

As for Randy, I think he has been making line up blunders all year.

Sure he gets them to compete most nights. But the goal is to win and if it wasn't for his repeated line up blunders, they would have won more. If I were to see him do some of the obvious moves he should and they were still losing, then I would be more hash about the roster. Until then, he gets more of the blame.

CCJ asked is it Randys fault Ves is not playing. Ahhh, yeah. It is. Last I checked he is the HC and he decides who plays. As I recall, it wasnt to long ago you were pimping that Ves has skill if used properly.

Well, I have to say. They did move the ball around better tonight. They actually looked pretty energetic out there. But they didn't score enough. They didn't get to the line and get easy points. 3 FTAs

I think Brick Wall could stick. We could play Pink Floyd when he comes out on the floor. All and all its just another Brick by the Wall. Kind of like they played Wild Thing in the movie Major League.

Maybe that is what they have overlooked.

Just explain to him that rebounds are a valuable stat in the NBA just like pts are. They are also counted like pts are counted. Actually, player that get a lot of them a valuable and get paid lots of money. And most the time, they are big men that do it. Not the PG, like the one who just outreabounded you. Again.

Maybe they haven't explained that to him yet and its all just an oversight. Hey I thought you told him. Nope, I thought you told him.

I used brick Wall earlier, and did so reluctantly, because I know it will stick. John Wall, if you're reading this you are rich, young, and have plenty of time but you can't shoot well.

I think Green Light should stick with Crawford.

hands, yes, I do think Vesely should be playing. Wall, Seraphin, and Vesely run and play "young guy ball" which at this point would make more sense to lose with than playing pound it inside with a guy who has no lift.

To all criticizing Wittman about starting Temple I get that. Who should start at SG? You're upset with him sticking with Ariza. Right? monte, or someone else mentioned the team was better with John coming off the bench. That may well be true but that would get Randy quickly fired. It also speaks to Wall's efficacy. Seraphin's shooting is getting out of hand when you consider he has no work drive to rebound or to use a power game. He is taking the easy way out. That has to be on the coach for letting Seraphin play through while a guy like Jan Vesely doesn't play at all.

Things went bad fast. I liked Shelvin Mack and thought the first time he didn't get a fair shake. The second time when he was released, I didn't complain. Nivek showed stats that showed Shelvin wasn't any less effective. Regardless, Mack was not going to help this team win games. Neither is Temple.

The architect of this roster is Ernie Grunfeld. Ted Leonsis is his boss and Randy Wittman's also. For about two weeks the team looked like it compete but that window slammed shut quickly. I caught a glimpse of a balanced, deep roster, that was built round defense and winning up tempo games. Good coaches just packed it in on Wall and then Beal got hurt. Nene's chronic foot problem reared its head and he is for the most part floorbound. Now Randy is suddenly an awful coach. This right after we talked playoffs. I guess coach takes the hit … but things start at the top IMO. The buck should stop at Ted Leonsis.

I have been on record from a long way's back saying what I would do. Troy Weaver and Dave Joerger would be a great tandem for GM and coach. Timing matters, however. Midseason is not the time to get THE coach IMO. Ernie just signed a new deal and this roster has been built by him. I would not trust him to dismantle this.

It is what it is.

I love how on a night when John hit three Js, its still about his J. Lets ignore the fact that Randy is trying to play mid 90's Knicks basketball. Néne, Okafor, and Seraphin scored 32 pts on 33 shots. The entire offense is running through them. There's no weak side movement and the ball is stopping in the post...but let's keep blaming John. I'm sure any competent coach would make a 30 yr old center who can't jump or run the focal point of the rebuilding effort. Makes all the sense in the world. It's almost comical too see all the bodies on D and from our front court who are clogging things up. It's like bumper cars in the post

I can only hope this is part of an effort to showcase Néne for a trade...although what team would want him based on what they've seen??

Ever since this further emphasis on playing methodical, slow, post heavy ball that runs through Néne, the guards outside of Wall struggled too! Look at Crawford! He is a shell of what we saw earlier....but let's keep the focus on John. It so obvious his J is the piece that would bring this all together!....if this is the offense were going to play, we need a Derrick Harper and John Starks. Even then, the best hope would be 90 pts on a good day. Didnt know Randy was a throwback coach...
