At least we can keep the same title for this thread

Adrian Wojnarowski‏@WojYahooNBA

Boston will send Jason Collins to the Wizards part of Jordan Crawford deal, source tells Y! Sports.

You guys got a steal. He will be missed in Boston.

Are we even going to be in the tax next season? I know we'll be slightly over the cap, but we aren't in danger of paying the tax.

I can't wait to read "Ted's Take" and spin on this. I'm sure it will be pure gold.

Collins doesn't do anything to make this better. He's an over the hill scrub who wasn't good to begin with. The only thing he does is take minutes away from Seraphin, Vesely, Booker, and Singleton without providing any glimmer of hope for production beyond this season.

I can't believe I'm saying this after complaining about the trade for an hour but... I think I was happier when it was just Barbosa.

And to think we were throwing names out like Crowder and Beaubois...apparently we aiming wayyyyy too low. When you have an opportunity to add a player like Jason Collins, you don't pass it up.

Hail Ernie.

Celtic fan here. Jason Collins has some positives. He can set a mean screen and he loves to foul. I'm sure that can help in some way.

And another positive, he's better than Fab Melo.

We should just make that Flip Saunders quote the motto for this franchise. Put it on the team logo.

Twin is also an expiring.

Anyway, the deal worked in the trade checker with Barbosa for Crawford straight up. So clearly Ainge said "yeah, but you gotta pay Twin for the rest of the season, too - or no deal." EG blinked (somebody get this guy some Visine), and there you have it.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.
