That's an excellent win, especially how porous the defense was in the first half. Beal, Ariza and Oak were all excellent. Wall had his moments, but also had some ugly mistakes, but I'll take it.

The refs tried to rob us there. Beal got rid of the ball before the foul. Should have let the clock run out.

You talk about basketball IQ and that's just what Beal's rebound is about. Knowing that Okafor is shaky at the line and going for long rebound and then trying to run it out. I don't want to continue to knock John but Beal seems much more aware and learns from his mistakes.

The "foul" was a high five by Beverly. What a weak call, lol

Good observation.

Randy is a good coach.

I like that Wittman started Singleton in the second half with Okafor getting rest after the Wizards gave up a bunch of threes in the first half. That move worked. Booker is ahead of Seraphin in the rotation. That is the right call. The way the Wizards play a deep bench has for the second night enabled them to grind the game out in the fourth. All season long the Wizards have been holding teams' scoring down in the fourth. They have been holding teams to 21 or so in the fourth. Tonight, they outscored Houston 28-20 in the fourth.

Randy is getting it done. I think he's the best coach the Wizards have had in quite a while.

Wall had a pretty solid game but Beal is the future of this team.

Yeep. And for how its nice to have both when you have Nene, Okafor, Trevor A and Webster.

How good is that Okafor/Trevor trade looking now.

Him adjusting to play more Okafor in the 4th is correcting a former mistake.

And he has found his rotations better. Kevin isn't even measuring up enough to play in a tough game.

The bar has been raised.

As long as Nene and Okafor can give you 30+ minutes, you can play w/o Seraphin. Tonight, they didn't really need him though they did give up a ton of offensive rebounds.

Bumping Okafor up from 24-26 minutes to 34 tonight was huge. Wittman called plays out of the timeout for Okafor, too.

You still hating the Nene for McGee move

WOW. What a game.

TREVOR WAS HUGE.

Hey, really efficient game by Wall. I will take 11 and 12 with 2 TOs every day.

Those are Wall's turnovers in the last 6 games. He can't keep that up if we want to win some games.

Only 2 turnovers tonight.

It is looking pretty good.

Okafor's line: 17 points (8-16 FG), 11 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 3 blocks
Ariza's line: 18 points (8-12 FG, 2-4 3PT), 4 rebounds, 6 assist, 4 steals

Return to Washington Wizards
