The guy is all muscle memory from midrange.. he could probably make those shots blindfolded.

If he shot threes, he'd basically be Dirk.. but he doesn't, which really hurts his efficiency as a player imo. Long-two ball isn't going to serve Portland well in the postseason.

Portland is real close to being an awesome team.

You are right about LMA. Him with a 3 ball.
Batum is real close to being that SF you need.
They have a big center.
Lillard at PG.

If each of them can keep growing their games and get better at D, they could get to elite level.

Real nice team construction.

I'm ecstatic about how the Wizards are playing.

Solid ball movement, smart shots, good P&R action, no turnovers, hitting free throws.

Portland's shooting will come back down to earth (hopefully).

Ariza is definitely helping us at the beginning of the 3rd... and Lopez hurting us...

I would call a time out around now.

They seem like they need a breather.

There ya go.

That was a burst of energy.

Still might call a time out though.

Edit. Never mind. They are picking it up.

It really is astounding how consistently terrible they are.

Are they even having fun? Or do they just like to throw away money? Did they just have extra cash sitting around and, instead of burning it like normal, decided to attend a sporting event?

If they are having fun, are they purposefully not smiling or showing emotion of any kind?

I'd love to do a psycho-analysis of Wizards fans at a Wizards game. I could write a thesis paper on the experience.

Watching other announcers is pretty fun.

Third one I've seen in the past few weeks.

Jazz: Loved the Wizards. Kept talking about how great Wall was. Made excuses for him having an off night.
Clippers: Loved the Wizards. Kept talking about how great Beal was, how good Wall is, and what a great game they had vs the Warriors.
Blazers: Homers but not Wizard haters. But they obviously think the Blazers are better and look down on DC. Talked about how bad Vesley was.

The team has been consistently awful, not sure why people expect fans to just lap it up every time the Wizards play a halfway decent game.

This Portland team does not handle double teams well.

Nice adjustment by Randy switching Beal off Matthews onto Lillard.

Then don't go to the freaking game!

If you go to the game (and are a fan of the team), try to have a little fun. It's a basketball game, not a funeral.
