Schiff is making an important point - there is already evidence of bad, unethical behavior. Mueller may not find it to be criminal, or decide he can't prove the criminality of it beyond a reasonable doubt, in which case we will never find anything out from him. We only find things out from Mueller if he puts out an indictment with all the details backing it up.

Schiff says it is Congress' job to tell America what happened and to warn us about unethical behavior by the Trumpies and to condemn it. And that's just not going to happen unless the Dems take back the house in 2018 and start the whole investigation over again.

Or we could accomplish the same goal by initiating impeachment proceedings.

He's for before he is against it! He is against it before he's for it!
The gun issue is the perfect example he is now back in bed with the NRA who would have guessed! :lol:

just so I got this straight. We are now suppose to hang on to "russia, if your listening, i hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. i think you will be heavily rewarded by our press."

That's it!!?? 20 months later? thats the smoking gun? And just to think it all happened right in front of our own very eyes. :lol:

5 full blown investigations and a special counselor later I guess we got him right there on his campaign trail!! I guess its time to draw up the articles. Or should we just hang him?

So to summarize the summaries, we have pretty strong evidence that Manafort, to keep himself from being bumped off by Russian mafiosi, hatched a scheme to work for the Trump administration for free, leverage his position in the admin to get sanctions on Russia dropped, in exchange for temporary breathing room on his debts until he can defraud some other sucker three months later.

People, including members of this board, keep asking “where’s the proof of crimes?” This always stuns me. He committed TREASON (well, ok, whatever, but basically treason) in front of your face! In front of all of us! On live tv! We all saw the same thing! He flat out instructed the Russians to please steal Hillary’s emails! He should be in jail already!

My economist colleagues have been warning for decades that stuff like this would lead to a trade war. Will be interesting to see what actually happens.

China's steel industry is saying "this is stupid but it also doesn't affect us much so sit and spin, Trump."

Mean spirit as opposed to mental illness should become the associated causation of mass shootings.
Private citizenry need not possess semi- or automatic weapons.

The temperature of the weapons owner needs to be assessed and re-assessed. Guns owners NOT JUST THOSE WITH (diagnosed, or often mis-diagnosed) MENTAL Illness need to be monitored very closely to make sure rage-motivated fools don't mass kill on the regular.
