Yeah, it's fairly obvious how giddy I am with the commitment of Nick Cross.

He's going to be ridiculous.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

So many football players leaning toward committing to Maryland but ended up somewhere else.

Ohio State (Dwayne Haskins for one), or Alabama (Steffon Diggs' little brother) or Florida (Jalen Tabor). Penn State...

Locksley is a game changer for getting commits to UMCP.

From the looks of some of those shots Edwards took, I'm guessing he was born without a conscience. I want him if there's ever a 4 point shot in the NCAA.

Cowan missing clutch shot after clutch shot, MD missing too many layups. Bruno having an excellent second half after a lousy first half. MD's good enough to win this game, but their better players aren't bringing the effort with any consistency.

Yep, bad effort today.

Maryland has better athletes. Michigan has a grinding style that beats Maryland almost all the time. Cowan was bad.

The good news is that the Terps will have another shot at playing Michigan at Xfinity.

They're going to beat Michigan next time.

Agreed - MD has a decided advantage in talent. They just need to play up to their ability.

I know I'm late but did I really need to comment on Turgeon losing another road game against a ranked team (0-19?). I'll give him a break because Michigan was coming off a terrible road loss at Penn State and has not lost at home. But the Iowa game Tuesday is huge. I've seen them anywhere from 4 to a 6 seed in the NCAA's. Could really use a quality win on the road and Iowa is a 28 Net Ranking and anywhere from 17-21 in the polls. Time for Cowan to start stepping up and Sticks Smith. Also would be nice if Turge pressed, trapped, did something to force turnovers and stop being in the bottom 50 in the nation in pace of play. A fast pace would help the more athletic players like Cowan.

Exactly right. It's been a problem since Turgeon's been here - the pace is too slow, and they don't get enough easy baskets.

If he can come back healthy from his injury, he will be REALLY good.

This is potentially an enormous signing.

They also struggle with turnovers year after year. Forced shots by Cowan and turnovers.

I'm looking forward to Ayala running the team.

Comes from the same school as Melo Trimble. Sounds like a possibility - though he's not regarded as a top 100 prospect - yet.
