George’s shooting and playmaking are his top assets but I’ve been very impressed by how well he uses his length to get his hands on balls on the defensive end.

Hot take... George >= Risacher.

Strange the George has been more effective on defense than offense. I think he will be more valuable on offense once the team gets better, similar to a guy like Otto.

I actually liked a lot of what I saw from Risacher. He was pretty solid on defense and he has a real quick release on his catch-and-shoot 3-ball. It reminded me a little of Klay Thompson.

Kyshawn was lights out from 3-point range during the Summer League and preseason, but he has struggled so far this year. He is shooting just 12.5%. When the 3-ball comes around, he's going to be a nice player.

Looks to me like teams are focused on preventing him from getting open looks from 3.

Wow...A possible 6-10 George. That D has the potential to be really awesome with the tall, long, young, and athletic George, Sarr, Bilal and Bub.

This is really good news indeed. Kyshawn's biggest weakness is that he's not a particularly explosive or quick-twitch athlete. He is coordinated and moves his feet well, but he doesn't jump. He is unlikely to ever have much of an athletic advantage at either SG or SF. But if he grows into a full-sized PF, he is plenty athletic for that position.

At the combine he measured 6'7 without shoes with a 8'9" standing reach. That is almost PF level anyway. Obviously will need to get stronger.

Agree with all the above. His coordination, fluidity, & seemingly high BBIQ have been a really pleasant plus so far. If he gets significantly bigger, he has a shot to become a really high impact player.

I just like the way he plays which includes everything you mentioned.

Nice analysis of George's defensive work.

Kid's a very smart young player.

It would be nice if Kyshawn could find his shooting touch. He was a very good shooter during college, Summer League and preseason, but can't hit the side of a barn so far during the regular season. He is 2/22 from 3-point range.

Absolutely!
Hard to imagine it won't happen -- he won't stay at 7% on 3s. Would like to see it soon of course....

Ba-BAM.

What shooting tonight.

And what a great all-around floor game.

Love his all around game but I’m amazed how bad his misses are from deep. Those are proper bricks

As I was watching the game, at first I was like dang, he can't hit anything.
I was about ready to post something.

Tanktastic loss.
