“Considerably more than DK Metcalf.” 4/132MM 60 guaranteed. No wonder Washington didn’t contact in over a month.

If this is accurate I suspect this might be Terry's last season as a Commander.

It's time to speak with Jadyn Daniels to let him know Terry's on the way out. He wants too much money given his age and likelihood for future injury or dropoff.

McLaurin is tripping on acid.

A 4 year contract that starts next season isn't going to work. A 3 year contract that starts this season would be fine. I would bet that is the hangup, not the money per year.

Courtland Sutton 4 years 92 million isn't doing Terry any favors. Yes, Terry is the better player but not ten million more better...

I would sign Christian Wilkins in a heart beat. Guys like him don't become available often and if he's just a little weird or gay ? Who gives a ****. Sign hat man! Unless there is legit SA involved we should jump on this chance to improve the D line!

I didn't know about the foot injury he refused to get surgery on at the time of this post. But I'd still be interested in him!

Nah, leave that dude alone. No one cares about his sexual preference. He's a creeper and he's predatory.

Somebody's going to hurt him. Either that or he's going to get locked up and then he can become the next Booty Warrior.

Love Terry but as y’all said, he is high if he thinks he’s getting significantly more than DK. They have almost identical career numbers and DK is 2 years younger. Should’ve just traded Terry for DK.

Is this a sign of toughness, inability to separate, or more on QB ball placement?

A combo of different factors. Good QB play by Daniel but McClaurin is good at puling down contested catches when the field shrinks- sometimes Daniels defaulted just to throwing to McClaurin in double teams but can't argue with results when McClaurin plays like that. There were at least 3 TDs where the defender were committing penalties on TDs throughout the season. But also does a good job catching the ball and continue to elude defenders down field. In his last 2 games he converted 2 TDs (one of a screen pass in the Lions game and another run after completion in the Eagles game.) Also would have had a noteworthy long TD against the Cowboys that would have been remembered more.

Also noteworthy that McClaurin only started connecting with Daniels in week 3 and Daniels also missed a few games (Panthers/Cowboys)- plus Daniels played with injured ribs for a portion of the season.

Basically, he is great as is but the concerns of decline seem to be happening to all the receivers - I believe Thielen is the only starting receiver who is over 34 in the league according to Bram Weinstein.

If he would take an absolute maxed out 1 year deal full garunte id pay him 50 a year or 120 for 2 years with 60 garunte all front loaded. I feel like this has to be more about the years. Than the money

Cares more about getting a last pay day instead of winning. Still under contract for a year. He ain’t sitting out as he gets older and older.

Peters should just give them permission to go find a trade. It would probably be a good reality check.

Yeah I don’t think McLaurin has the type of market he thinks he does. He will probably just end up signing just like Myles Garrett did after wanting to leave Cleveland.

Bro, of course he cares about his payday. Do you not understand football is a sport where you literally shave years off of your lifespan? Football players don't age gracefully. He should fight for every penny he can.

It's best this way. Strictly business.

The Commanders organization need to express their full support in him obtaining his worth on the open market. They should also express to him that they want to keep him and they would like to see if they can match his best offer.

If he doesn't allow them the opportunity then he is still under contract a year and his ass can sit. The Commanders should stand on business, too.

Perhaps teams will offer trade packages that can make the best of this bad situation.
